New York City has banned the term "illegal alien" when used "with intent to demean, humiliate or harass a person," the city said.
And what does demeaning actually mean. Demeaning is subjective.

ccording to the judge's written report, some of the texts the landlord said included "HAVE MY MONEY OR IM CALLING ICES [sic] THAT DAY PERIOD," and "I REPORTED YOU TO IMMIGRATION BOO THEY KNOW IM THE LANDLORD TO PROVIDE THEM KEYS COME DIRECTLY TO YOU."

New York will continue to drive people out of its city, it's becoming dystopic.
Damn this makes me appreciate Texas that much more.
I got a solution to this problem. Just dont threaten to call ICE anymore. No threats. Just call them. Presto.

I've never liked the term 'illegal alien' myself. It is a bit degrading. Also states this when applying for VISA's into the country. I am not a 'alien', I think 'alien' should only be used for other planetary subjects, not 'humans'. 'illegal' can be used if indeed that person is illegal.
Can you say 'illegal immigrant' instead?
