Kamala Harris Says Twitter Should Suspend Trumps Account

Sen. Kamala Harris said on Monday that President Donald Trump's Twitter account should be suspended following his tweets about the whistleblower whose complaint is at the center of the Ukraine scandal.

"The President's tweets and his behaviors about this are just further evidence of the fact that he uses his power in a way that is designed to beat people down instead of lift people up," the California Democrat and 2020 presidential candidate told CNN's Anderson Cooper on "Anderson Cooper 360."
"Frankly, when you look at what he's been tweeting today directed at the whistleblower, directed at so many people, you know, I, frankly, think that based on this and all we've seen him do before, including attacking members of Congress, that he, frankly, should be -- his Twitter account should be suspended. I think there is plenty of now evidence to suggest that he is irresponsible with his words in a way that could result in harm to other people. And so the privilege of using those words in that way should probably be taken from him."

The calls for censorship are coming hard, as are the fake news stories.

Anderson Cooper says multiple times that the whole Biden thing is a DEBUNKED conspiracy theory! That's right, no investigation needed at all! It's just a conspiracy theory folks. I swear, the level of DECEIT on display by our MSM is frightening. They REALLY ARE colluding with the DNC. It's so grossly-obvious and I KNOW that people are waking up to it. I can't believe this programming is being aired in airports across the world.

Well, back to Kamala, the gift that keeps on giving. She's totally irrelevant to the 2020 race at this point, but now she's actively calling for Twitter to suspend Trump's account! Who the hell does she think she is that she believes Trump shouldn't have a platform? Why are they trying to censor and CONTROL our thoughts so much?

I think some key players are going down. I think they are scared. I think they are losing and Trump is winning.

I've never seen this level of ridiculousness. It's like a frigging fantasy world out there.

Exactly! Trump is the only one telling it like it is today. That's why they hate him and always have. He exposes them.

*Also, I should've alluded in the main OP text that the "debunked conspiracy" Anderson Cooper references is the email server that Ukraine almost certainly either has, or is able to provide.

I've read that Barr and the IG went to Italy in person to deal with this entire investigation.

Is there light at the end of the tunnel? Might someone actually go to prison for trying to overthrow the POTUS through false charges in the Russian Hoax?

Beto did the same thing. Numbers start tanking, immediately say something completely outrageous. Ignorant people love it and the US has no shortage of them.

The whole point of Twitter was to create more free speech so people could get their version of truth out. If not for that Bin Laden would still be in Pakistan. A better use of her time would be questioning why the guy who tweeted Bin Laden's location is still in jail for doing nothing wrong.

I'm going to enjoy seeing Kamala Harris officially connected to the Jussie Smollett race-hoax crime. A special prosecutor is looking into it as we speak.

I do think this is the direction that social media
is heading. Bans, shadow bans, quarantines.

It never fails to amaze me how against the first amendment certain individuals are.
If his tweets are hateful or hurtful, then they should stand to showcase his opinions.
If his tweets are not, then why censor them?

The only reason to call for a suspension of his account is there is no logical way to refute his talking points. Otherwise you just logically refute the points. . .

Define war? We are in a cultural war that is media vs. reality (in my case I work in higher education which I define as media).
While shots have been fired from both sides in regards to mass shootings. The "shot that was heard around the world" has not happened yet to my knowledge.

We are not at the point of prolonged physical violence. Yet.

Sorry, but it's not just the liberals. I've supported every Republican president in my lifetime except for Bush Jr (Sorry, his support for the war over fake WMD killed it for me), and I just can't get behind Trump. His incessant tweeting is giving liberals all the ammunition that they need to brand traditionalist traditional old school conservatives as being redecks and white supremisists. Everytime Trump "tells it like it is" he puts another nail in the collective coffin. When Trump is out of office, and there is a Democrat in the whitehouse, they will look back at everything that Trump ever said and will use it to enact censorship and doble standards the like of which haven't been seen in peacetime America.

Trump should hand his twitter account over to a PR professional who can craft his "truth" into something that can't be used against his voters.
