I may have recorded a Yowie call and even evidence of written communication - need feedback

Hi all,

Havent posted in ATS for almost a decade, but im back as I may have inadvertently recorded the call of a Yowie, while also compiling other evidence of Yowie visitation.

The basic backstory... Ive had a YouTube channel for about 18 months and regularly go out into the Australian bush to camp and do bushcraft things. So, essentially i have a camera rolling regularly while out on my adventures. Around 12 months ago i recorded some strange animal calls and included them in a video. A couple of weeks back someone posts them onto a Yowie forum claiming they may be Yowie calls. I thought about some unusual things that have occurred to me at this same site and made a video compiling all the evidence of possible Yowie interaction, also conducted a little field research too.

No one has been able to determine what the calls were or to fully explain some of the evidence i have found at the site and being an old ATS contributor from way back, i know the value of the collective knowledge here. So i am hoping some kind of experts can take a look at htis vid and tell me what they think.

NB: Bird experts have listened to the calls and not been able to ID them. Fox calls have been considered but found unlikely. No Australian animal im aware makes these calls. I havent heard them in about 9 or 10 months at the site, but used to hear them regularly during the Australian summer.

This reality is not storybook. In Seattle area it gets really serious when you're out in the impossible to trek rainforest and you realize things just got quiet and spiritual. Bird whistles that aren't birdlike, and the geography nearby, like the whole valley and hillsides that you can be affected by ....turn into the twilight zone

Strong spiritual haps, in your mind, and two guns loaded with bear ammo and dangerous African game ammo...doesn't help as you're running for the tailbone haulin azz outta there tryin not to scream like a child.... By yourself is not gonna work, I told myself I'm not going back there without 9 people with me.

These big hairy mothers are in the same interdimensional realm as demons.....ufos, and disappearances.

The night calls, we don't ever hear them in the daylight, but at night...crazy noises are unexplainable.

By my ranch I heard a Bigfoot howl that crossed a road and travelled a mile in 5 mintes, he was trying to sound like a cow but nah........the cattle were vocal about him, too!reply to: srsen

I've found it weird how one can take just a few steps off a beaten path ... look back the direction one came from ... and be startled by how different it looks simply because the perspective has changed. No strange howls needed to feel alarmed!

So you are of the opinion that Bigfoot's (at least) are evil - what about Yowies? And do you think they are flesh and blood or fully paranormal? I tend to feel that if they didnt want me there i would have realised this directly by now - i wander if an evil entity would make it presence known to me after numerous trips.

If the symbols left behind where a communication, do you have any idea why they wouldnt leave more? Surely, if intelligent, they would sense that my behaviour did not change after they left them and try another way to get my attention.

And may i ask if you have ever seen the Bigfoots in your area? Do you 'feel' them before you see them, and if so, do you 'know' its them without even needing to see them? As if tapping into some ancient fear born from millenia of dealing with these things?? Sorry for the many questions, but the opportunity to ask questions to people who know so much more than me is irresistible.

Ummm...to preface...i’m not a believer in Bigfoot...Sasquatch...etc...

However...as you stated in your video...new species are being discovered all the time...
I also can’t square that every sighting...or recording...or legend belongs in the lap of hoax...rather...there must be a core of these occurrences that are real and fact based...

The main point I wanted to touch on is that while you entertain the possibility of the existence of these hominids...you retain a healthy skepticism throughout your video...
You also don’t employ any of the obvious fakery that the preponderance of these programs foist on a gullible public...

In my nine years on this site...this is my first comment in this forum...

Thank you for an honest attempt to link together what may be and probably are...unrelated events and occurrences into a thought provoking theme...I really enjoyed your work and presentation...

We appear to be (perhaps) experiencing a glitch in the Matrix with YouTube.

Wanted to say that I enjoyed your video and more importantly your attempt to remain neutral/skeptic. I've always called myself a Believer/Skeptic/Debunker and until all the criteria and factors have all been weighed in I remain in that form of Trinity till more puzzle pieces reveal themselves.

And yes your right, as I was one of those that said... well yes but he could've made the Tripod and bent little structure, and even the Yowie supposed scream (which here in the States could've been thought to be Coyote's or the like). And (supposedly) The Hairy BiPedal can mimic most perfectly what they hear. So just another one of those thingss you have to factor in (as in placed in the Hmmm department if true). Although I will say that to me, the (supposed) recording carries more weight than the structure and tripod. I used some software and noise-limiting plugins and think I was able to clean it up a touch and certainly it's much louder for sure. (check your PM's and I'll get you a copy)

You made mentioned (very briefly) about seeing something behind you but you didn't address that.

The writing on the bed staves/sticks with charcoal is very odd and one of the first times I've heard that it was associated with a hairy bipedal. Maybe it's unique for your region of the world (or I'm just not putting two and two together yet).

Anyway.. I wish you many more adventures, and don't be such a stranger, drop by a little more often!

My expert opinion, it sounds like a dog. I hear dogs make that sound every night.

It's normal to find trees snapped in-half in the woods, mostly done by storms. The markings on trees is usually done by humans, as well making tripod shelters. I highly doubt Bigfoot writes in Runic lol... probably markings from dirty hands.

However fun to think what if....

thanks man! I really appreciate the kind words, means a lot. One thing i just dont see the point of, in life in general really, is fakery and BS. Authenticity is the only way and why change that for a few extra views or subscribers?? Nah stuff that, be yourself and call it like you see it i say - so im glad you see things the same way!

With the vid, its such a hard thing to judge - theres absolutely a decent chance these things have avoided detection on the whole - hell, theres animals out there, officially recognised, that have only ever been spotted a couple of times. The evidence needs to be there though, and in this day and age of internet fame, people would go very far to get their slice. So even the evidence i found couldve been placed by someone else in the hope some idiot like me would find it and get all excited, therefore furthering the Yowie claim agenda. Who knows! Im remaining in the camp skeptical believer for the time being.

Believer/Skeptic/Debunker - to me, a healthy balance! allows you to maintain the fun of it all but not lose your mind in the process and become dogmatic, therefore start seeing exactly what you want to see.

the structures... it kinda bugs me that others fake stuff, as it diminishes when people actually dont fake it lol. but yeh, anyone could make it anytime, and nothing i say or do will convince someone who doesnt believe i didnt make it - those two branches stuck together were a little weird though i must say.

We dont get coyotes here, though we do get wild dogs and foxes. Foxes i can confidently dismiss (i listened to MANY different calls and they all fail to match up). Wild dogs, im not honestly sure.

The 'thing behind me' i didnt address was actually down to poor editing and not finishing my sentence properly - probably should have just cut it out. The intention was to set up for the teepee/tripod reveal but then i haphazardly cut to the call recordings instead. I was hoping no-one would notice that haha - busted.

yeh man those symbols have tripped me out since they appeared. Ive investigated myriad runic languages to find a match with no real luck. I did find one match but it made absolutely zero sense. My theory is either a person did them for a laugh (weird to do though) or i simply havent found the right language yet. But ill tell ya, if thats Yowie/Hairy Man communication I WILL FLIP OUT! in a good way lol.

Finally, thank you so much for cleaning up that audio!! I really do appreciate that time you spent. Looking forward to hearing it and will likely include it in here at some point.

What if IS fun to play! Makes life a bit more enjoyable.

Will be honest... im not convinced on dogs but not writing it off either. Might do some investigation into wild dog calls...

As for the trees, of course wind can break them, but the amount of time ive spent in this location and often in bad wind (once with wind gusts up to 115km), im not convinced wind would snap these trees. and if it did, why only ONE of the hundreds in the same area? Seems inconsistent to me.

Tripods/teepees... yeh couldve been someone who built it, but highly unsuited for shelter and in a VERY odd location... so unless someone was intentionally trying to pretend to make a Yowie teepee? and the runic letters - definitely not dirty hands - they are symbols clear as day written by someone or something other than me

No Worries... completely understand about the editing, been there myself and did a facepalm when I was caught.. lol

* Symbols *
Yeau that still makes me go "Hmmm?" because the closest I've ever heard about were structures and occasionally 'something made' from the surrounding area (IE: similar to your hand-woven stick-figure). But I can't ever recall hearing anything but structures and stone stacking. Thats not to say that they couldn't have some form symbols, but then one would ask (as with mimicking sounds/voices), are they just copying something that they saw (conjecture obviously). As there are quite a few cases here in the United States of (supposed) hairy Bipedal seen wearing Human Clothing.

* Sound *
By the way... after re-listening to the video at around 13:35 while your talking about one of the structures, there's another distant sound (very faint and distant). Haven't tried to do anything with it filter wise as I'm short on time right now. Did'nt know if anyone else caught that.

* Suggestion *
Since we have really no clue as to what these structures might be, to 'them' the significance could be territorial. If so, then your placing objects in or around them might be taken as something other than 'a gift' . If you don't get any results, try finding a spot (and it doesn't necessarily have to be near the structures) that might have like a Stump/log
and place them there (like an alter). Place some rocks (or even your own tripod like structure) around it to prevent the wind knocking them all over or off. This way it is a separate entity/event that will make them curious (make sense?). Then again if you get a reaction with where they are now.. then stick with that plan. Your gifting of the Shell and Mineral are right on-track, and apparently marbles are also well liked.

Anyway.... I've sent the audio clip to you and feel free to do with it as you like and please keep us updated.

The "runes" only look like runes as the middle mark has a circle with a tail down. Nowhere in "futhark" , runes has a circle as the method behind runes, which are nearly all scratched on, are straight lines as a circle is very hard to scratch. Look up Futhark runes and see for yourself. I think it's someone playing with you, and I don't mean Yowie.

You may enjoy this book of a woman's personal experience with them in her backyard. I've read both and have come to my own conclusion. But, the most heavy impact I got out of this book is how the more you want to know and the more they lead you along, the more twisted everything becomes. It seems an endless chase with no end in sight. And, I believe it's on purpose.

The trees in my area are very durable, we have oak and osage... Every now and then a storm will blow through the woods where none of the trees seem to be touched, but if you was to look closely you might find a healthy looking tree broke in half among a cluster of standing trees. Most times it's the tops of trees broken, however they can break in half. I've seen it many times.

The tripods, when I was teen we would build tripods without thought playing out in the woods, some for shelter some for fire. On weekends, me and my teen friends would trek at least a mile or two into the woods and setup camp, building all kinds of wooden structures.We would even howl like dogs and coyotes lol.

I suppose if Bigfoot exist he/she could do all that..... I have seen weird markings, structures in the woods too... but you never know. I would write it off, just to keep my mind sane lol.

It would be interesting to playback the sound back into the woods with speaker.

It is also scares me quite much. I'm not sure if i would do it, if i were in your shoes.

The sigils/runes/whatever really flips me out too. Very serious stuff. And scary (to me).

Using one non-verified thing to explain another non-verified thing is really not much of a step forward. But if we someday get a good, solid, confirmed demon body and a Sasquatch body, we can compare the two to see if they match up.

G'day srsen,

To be honest this is the first video of yours that I've seen. Quite a speculative video and I enjoyed it. I live in the bush myself and strange sights, noises and perceptions are not uncommon. I'm not familiar with the locality where you've shot this presentation but if I may I'll offer some possible explanations.

Regarding the saplings broken, I have experienced this several times with trees from smaller ones to as thick as your arm broken off from a meter to over two meters from the ground. Larger trees with bark torn from them. I discovered that seasonally the large black cocktoos frequent our neck of the woods. Very destructive. From what I learnt and my very own observations is that they take to an area raiding the trees for grubs. How they know the grubs in the trees was pointed out to me by an knowledgeble bushy.

The cockies land on the trunk sideways and get this, put the side of their head on the sapling or tree for a short while. They chose a particular point and rip into the side of the sapling with that nasty beak and chew right into the core of the wood. They don't stop until they've located a grub unless disturbed.

In the case of the smaller saplings, the top portion dies or simply falls over in a breeze. The larger trees on my block snap at the point in a gusty wind. To clarify this I suggest checking the sapling break for borer or grub activity and in the case of fresh evidence of trees breaking (still green), at the base of the tree will be wood shards and small bark bits.

The cockies here generally fly in twos or threes and attack the trees remaining for about 2 to 3 days. They are particularly fond of my macadamias.

Regarding those scratch marks. Sometimes large goannas with claws stretching hand width climb a short distance up a tree and hand there. Perhaps spying a nest. Again from watching I have been alerted by the native birds going off and watched as even several species take turns at attacking a goanna commence climbing a trunk. The birds include, pied butcher birds, magpies etc. They actually hit the back of the lizard. The reptile holds and digs its' claws in for a while. If the defense of the birds becomes over whelming the monitor slides downwards a bit then lets go and hits the ground. The birds don't give up until the lizard retreats. In my case the dogs chase them away. My thoughts. Perhaps check other trees at different heights for similar marks. I have many similar scratches around here particularly around the bigger gums near the chook shed which gets raided often by goannas.

As for the tripod constructions I can offer nothing other than while clearing around the house yard, to some 100 meters from the house, when I first purchased this block there were several in the scrub amongst the trees, (now cleared except for the trees) about the height and width of the one in your video but these were constructed by previous occupiers for the purpose of growing cannabis whereupon they were covered by a bit of shade cloth.

As I said, a good presentation and I offer some possible explanations only from my observations.
