My brother-in-law was SO hyped for this. It broke my heart to see his face when I asked him how he could be so invested in the idea that Russia used the internet to influence voters to elect Trump, yet an internet meme trying to get people to storm the Nellis range was a good idea. I part of me feels that it actually made him think.

This whole raid area 51 thing was probably deliberately hyped up by the authorities... as like a training exorcise.

They probably wanted to test how efficiently they could infiltrate and shut down a planned mass protest on social media, before it even occurred.
