Drone strikes reported to have hit the state-owned company Aramco facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais , explosions and gunfire heard.

Iran-aligned Houthi fighters in Yemen have been blamed for previous attacks.
However, the Saudi media reports did not say who could be behind the latest attacks.

"At 04:00 (0100 GMT), the industrial security teams of Aramco started dealing with fires at two of its facilities in Abqaiq and Khurais as a result of... drones," the official Saudi Press Agency reported.

"The two fires have been controlled."

If I were a betting man I'd put my money on Houthi fighters , reap what you sow Prince Salman.

I wouldn't be entirely surprised to learn the Mossad is behind this.

Houthi forces have now claimed responsibility for the attack.

A spokesman for the Iran-aligned Houthi group in Yemen said it had deployed 10 drones in the attacks.

The military spokesman told al-Masirah TV, owned by the Houthi movement and based in Beirut, that further attacks could be expected in the future.

Isn't what the US was waiting for? They sure will get involved and Iran has been a target for a long time according to the PNAC Document.

Same old game, again and again.
If only we could get rid of those warmongering demons on this planet maybe we could get along once and for all.

No reason for the US to get involved the Saudis can handle this. As long as they don't send their own drones to strike the uranium enrichment plant LOL, Just a nice measured response.

Consider some of the stuff the Saudis have done over there, it kinda makes me chuckle that the Houthi haven't rolled over and are giving them everything they can handle and then some.

It's being reported that up to half of Saudi oil production has been suspended due to the attack.
Price rises and likely Saudi reprisals incoming.
