Should we ban folks from changing race/race changes - Ban Transracialism?

If you all think race does not play a part in the governments eyes here my little story. In the early 70's my father passed away and we became lower middle class. I had gotten my GED since I had dropped out at 16 and thought that would be a leg up.

At that time there was a government program called CERTA that provided job training for the under privileged. I went in and filled out the paper work. Qualified for everything but training (they found me a job). I asked why and the person receiving the paper work that if I had been a minority IE a female or a non white male then I would of qualified.

I can see why people are playing the ethnic card or the gender what ever card. Back then if I had been able to stomp my feet and said but I'm a woman whos black or brown or any thing other than white I would of played that card since the system is against the white male.

The system was not nor is it now against anyone. They were supporting a specific group with affirmative action, not discriminating against the white male.
They got you a job didn't they?

This kills me. The white male crying unfair. If only they had a clue.

It's lying to gain financial advantage. But considering that there are plenty of scholarships and other programs open only to people of certain ethnic backgrounds, you could call it a form of fraud.

No not really, at the time if her school/work did not have a clause saying what % you have to be she is actually all clear.

My daughter is a 6ft tall light eyed blonde chick. Not something you'd think of as Asian, but she is indeed considered Asian by having a large enough %

I don't think any of this should matter personally, can't we all just be human?

I'm from NY and let me tell you what a New Yorker is.... any race at all. Every variation of human possible.
What is italian? What is greek? Are they white or brown?

Still you didnt really answer my question because hispanic is not a race. Its an ethnicity. The government groups hispanics by country or origin regardless of their race. And in fact defines race as what a person identifies as which leaves the question in the OP a moot point.

Personally I think the whole concept of RACE should be banned - other than HUMAN race.
In the US and other very racist society's the term race carries with it a whole load of excess baggage we really do not need going into the future and each person identifying themselves as RACE has reason to hate all other races due to past crime's and current bigotry but put two toddlers into a pen together with enough toy's and they will act the same regardless of ETHNICITY and this is a universal truth, human beings' are human beings' but there are those that want to divide us.

Recently I heard of a supposedly Christian lady over in the states whom acted as anything BUT Christian when she claimed wrongly that the bible was against mixed race couples and discriminated against such a couple, either she has never read her bible or is twisting it in way's to which it was never meant to be twisted for other than Christian motives - it could be that she was indoctrinated into this view by some inbred people with that view - which is not biblical at all but I guess we shall never know because apparently soon after she apologized (probably after her pastor gave her a stern telling of if he was even remotely a Christian pastor that is).

The most beautiful speech was that given by Martin Luthor King I have a dream.

Sadly racism exists in all ethnicity's and currently perhaps the most racist ethnicity against others in the US as well as other parts of the world is NOT those of European Ethnicity, Chinese Ethnicity or anything else but African American's whom have some very bad people at the moment calling for race wars and hating for the sake of hatred itself as if there hatred can somehow put right generations of injustice but they are not alone in the 1950's the Black American population was growing increasingly affluent and influential so some sick and twisted men in the US intelligence serviced hatched a plot to destroy the middle class African American neighbourhood's by flooding them with drug's, this was by no mean's all members of the CIA but some very high ranking members that felt that the rise of black America was a threat to There - BACK THEN way of life so they set out to destroy them.

There are rumours that HIV was artificially created despite claim's that it has been around for a very long time and that it was deliberately released in the 1970's in Africa as an attempt to limit the population there since some very dodgy scientists in the 1950's also drew up scary (to them and those they sold these quack theory's too) future projections of population growth there while in Europe and America they found other way's to surreptitiously sterilise the white population - note they were not targeting just one ethnic group but trying to cull the human population for there sick and twisted elitist ideology that had nothing to do with common sense or humanity itself, even today it is not our population that is the problem but rather our consumerism which is destroying our planet - not the people the culture which only need's to be corrected a little in the way we use and re-use good's instead of throwing them away.

Also in the 1950's there were evil experiment's which used poor black men for biological disease and even weapon research in the US but the claim's about HIV in Africa indicate probably ex (or were they?) Nazi scientists then working in Germany in under the umbrella of certain NAZI owned (There owners were Nazi's in the war and worked with the NAZI's on there genocidal plan's) corporations to develop this disease probably from a disease that formerly did not affect human being's until they artificially tweaked it.


The concept of race is vile except and in so far as it is the HUMAN RACE, ethnicity is the word that should be used and ethnicity should NEVER related to culture they are very different thing's, religion is part of culture and culture is part of nationality but not part of race.

A test for gender would reveal what is desired if hormones are taken. Not what you were born. oops.

For certain things such as diversity scholarships, financial aid, for claiming Native American status etc.

I would say "required" is a strong word, probably more of a guideline. It's not like someone is checking, but I think it could be used against you in a case like Warren now. If you are going to get into politics or be a celebrity or something that your past will be looked at with a fine toothed comb..

Best to just ignore those people and their mental issues. IKind of like Walmart selling shirts that claim to be 237 sexes but you can only buy the shirt in Mens and Womens. Pretty much tells you everything you need to know right there.
