Oh, that option is on the table if this doesn't work, but this will be tried first.
They prefer to see if they can get it to resolve non-surgically, and the first one I had did resolve non-surgically with little intervention. It was
also much less painful in the global sense as it kept most of the pain and discomfort in the joint itself and once that was gone in the first four or
five months, I was just left to work through the remaining stiffness with little pain.
This one has been involving my entire arm and chest though, so it's much worse. But, yeah, if this course of therapy isn't bringing me relief in about
4 to 6 weeks, the option of having the orthos knock me out and forcibly manipulate the snot out of the joint to break up the scarring is still there.
