That aside...
I'm an old fan, but they take too long to release and can be too formulaic. I've always appreciated their style and precision, but MJK has become too pretentious for my liking, and the material hasn't evolved since Lateralus.
I still like them, but I no longer clamor for them.
I got too old I guess.

I was joking, the real winner is still a mystery.

I got my copy from a well-known torrent site, listened to it once and deleted it afterwards.

It was on my Amazon music app , downloaded it yesterday for free.

Decent, but I was really hoping for the old, bone crushing harder stuff.

Very generous.

I think The album is incredible.

The next logical step.

After listening to FI, somehow 10,000days feels rushed and almost poppy.

The mixing/mastering on the album is God Tier and raises the bar.

Very few albums offer such rewarding “re -listenability”.. it gets better with each listen.

Might not be for everyone, but it sure is for me.

I listened to it. It is not good.

I agree completely! Love all their previous albums from Opiate to Lateralus; Lateralus and Aenima are both my favorite, I've tried but can't decide which is better... They're both equally amazing and perfect in their own way. 10,000 Days, on the other hand, also left me feeling underwhelmed. I'd say it's my least favorite.

But Fear Inoculum fits my ears much better! Though the beats are super complex and unconventional, and are sure to sound otherworldly and abrasive to some listeners, I've been enjoying it very much. And you're right that it gets better with every listen. I found that most of the songs contain a key beat or section that unlocks the rest of the song, and allows the brain to translate, understand and enjoy what was largely inaccessible before.

The only song I’m not a huge fan of on this album is Culling Voices.
Oh and “chocolate chip trip” should’ve been one of the bonus tracks.
If your only going to do 7 tracks, don’t make one a sound sample.
Could’ve hit us with another banger instead.
