Hi, would anyone happen to know about any energy removal technology that can remove electromagnetic energy?

I'm assuming any kind of grounding machine. Or a good conductor to a ground at least at the basic level.

I had a member of staff who used to place crystals around her laptop to "soak up the dangerous energies". It sounds barking mad, but she was a star.

Sound like you are looking for a degaussing machine or the like.

That's a pretty vague description, but would you happen to be looking for a Faraday Cage?

Turning whatever it is off will cause the magnetic field to dissipate.

That's the first thing I thought of after reading the question.

If you have an old microwave oven that doesn't work anymore, it will still function as a type of Faraday cage, effectively blocking electromagnetic frequencies which are significantly longer wavelength than the little holes you can see in the door. It blocks EM outside from getting in and EM inside from getting out (The latter is why microwave ovens are safe to use), though if you want to block higher frequencies, then you need it to be solid or at least have smaller holes in it.

Energy cannot be created or destroyed, so that's out of the question.

Matter is a condensed form of energy.

According to some, anger is an energy...

So, you could just chill, or put it in the garbage bin and wait for the council truck to take it away.

My first wife was really good and deflating all my enthusiasm for living. Does that count?

i'm pretty sure they have a paint that blocks em energy too
pretty expensive though

Lead paint perchance?

If so it can be dangerous.

Navy ships produce an electromagnetic signature that is the inverse of the ship to help hide the ship on radar.

To remove all electromagnetic energy you will have to remove all the electrons and protons from matter. There is a hypothetical material called Neutronium that is just built from the neutrons of an atom. This material in theory should not have any electromagnetic field associated to it. This material may even perform like a black hole in some ways.

In CERN mini black holes are produced when enough energy is concentrated. This effect does remove electromagnetic energy and make it difficult to see what is going on as the CERN machine is based on electromagnetic principles.

I almost forgot to mention, it needs to be a device that can remove electromagnetic energy outside an object.

How they do that on a ship is by first measuring the electromagnetic field, then then wrap a wire coil around the ship and send the inverse signal from the measurement. This will help cancel out the electromagnetic energy of the object and aid in cloaking it.

The first question really is what are you trying to shield and are you trying to stop whatever it is sending signals out or stopping signals getting to it or both and creating a deadzone around an item?

Lots of things are possible just its when you look at the price of the parts required and the skills needed etc you see why quite often to avoid man made signals etc the military etc love places a long way from civilization.

Always remember back in the 1980's in the UK ICL (now part of fujitsu) used to use old salt mines for testing and certifying mainframe parts in Cheshire as it was deep enough that nothing could get through to affect the readings needed for the paperwork and it was cheap and local.

"Energy Removal Technology"

Plug kettle in, go for a run.
have a cup of tea.
Energy all gone!

oh wait! maybe you should throw the tea away?
removes more energy. me I just drunk it!

Now that is the trick. Cant carry one with us unless we build a mobile one, perhaps on a car/frame, but inside one of those the field affects should stop.

Kwak on cern, your observation tells me I sure wish I studied more Physic. I only had to have 2 in undergrad one something called Physical Chemistry in Grad school . Chemistry being close to Physics is the only reason. I might be a Physicists had I knew what I wanted for sure. I was one of those who was able to chose anything and it made it worse choosing what to study.

Hindsight is full of what ifs and maybes, you are making excuses and getting lost in a past you can do nothing about. We all go through life making the best we can with mistakes along the way. We have an amazing technology at our fingertips for learning new stuff. There is a lot to everything and it does take time to understand all the pieces.
