If you guys look down on the other end of the runway (top middle), you would see the same type of marks, which makes me thing they are some kind of desegnator...like a sign saying "WARNING: YOU BETTER NOT BE ABLE TO READ THIS, END OF RUNWAY!"
or some sort of skid marks from a bounce landing.

Wow! Talk about stealth! What I though was an aerial photo(very impressive by the way)of 51 is actually the TR-3! Thats where all my tax money has been going! The Mullahs will never see that giant runway coming for them!

I don't think that black spec is an aircraft, but who knows for sure?

That picture of the base is very cool if I do say so myself. I was wondering if anyone could answer some questions:

What the heck is that big project just south of the base? In the picture its the biggest bare earth patch just below the main part of the base It almost looks like they are excavating mining or something?

there is also some weird looking road at the very bottom left of the picture. Its like a out of whack square inside of a square with V road at one end? Anyone know what this is?

What are the 15 white buildings in the main base. the tops are white and resemble Lieutenants bars or something. I was wondering what the purpose of their shape, roof design and fairly close grouping are for?

thanks

Ok, just to clarify, the TR-3b is believed to be the size of two football fields.

So suggesting that anything in the Groomlake facility could house such a large craft, well you find me a hanger that big.
Shattered OUT...

Two quick correction: This thead is talking about the TR-3A, you are talking about a TR-3B. Sorry to say it, but you have the wrong plane in mind! Second, I doubt that an aircraft the size of two football feilds exists. Think about it, why would you make an aircraf that big? It doesn't sound practical to me! How would you try to hide something that big? Sorry to say it, but I think the Giant flying triangle, you call the TR-3B most likly isn't a real Plane!

it looks very similar to the reported sightings of the TR3A.

I think it looks alot more likr the B-2 than anything else.

And shattered skies, why wouldnt they keep the TR3-A at the groom lake facility? Its the one place on earth that is hidden from prying eyes, and no doubt it does have a hanger big enough to house it!!!

I was just going to say that!
It would be pretty darn hard to keep secret a plane the size of 2 foot ball feilds hahah for some reason the speculation that people actually belive that to be true is quite funny to me.

The digging at the south end by the old A-12 Blackbird hangars is just because they wanted to resurface the taxiways and aprons, the old concrete slabs were just getting to tired, much like a lot of the base which has had occasional upgrades, to buildings, new runways and of course, new aircraft.

1) I knew that the thread was about the TR-3A, I was just adding a little sidenote which would explain "Just to clarify". It was completely disrelated to the thread, but I felt that somewhere someone would confuse both, as I think I already saw.

2)Ok, well this is pretty much all I can tell you, don't doubt the government, in this day and age, just about anything is hidable, given the right resources, and who says just because alot of people haven't seen it, doesn't mean it's not real?

But I do understand where you are all coming from, how an aircraft that big can possibly be hid, but you must keep in mind, the US owns alot of empty land, and plus it is believed(I'm not confirming anything) that there are only 3 aircraft. It is also believed that the Aircraft are not kept in a hanger, but would strole into a large empty building, and be lowered by elevator underground for maintenance. That answer your question?

And the size does go along with the whole purpolsion thing, it seems feasible, just not practacle. Ok, maybe I exaggerated, all I know is that it is believed to be 600ft in diameter.

Take a picture of any other runway, military or not, and you'll see that kind of marks, with the same shape (larger on runway where big airliners touch down more often than fighters).
These marks are due to the hit of the wheels... IMO
I could be too sceptical, though.

Anyhow, a very nice pic. Would love some others of that grain!

You mean the bar-like buildings? Barracks maybe? Lots of barracks look like long bars. Inside them you would have bunks on both sides of the long room. Often you have two long buildings connected to each other in the middle as one barracks, with shower and washroom facilities in the place they join.

I've lived in barracks that look quite like this before. It wasn't very cozy

something that comes to my mind is...

see all of the black marks on those runways ? I know this is from the tires on the aircraft landing there, but how long would those marks stay on the runway ?

I mean lets say they use it every day for a month, then no use for several months, wouldn't those marks fade a little ?

My point being, it looks like those runways are getting A LOT of use !

As I understand it, Nevada is a VERY dry place, with little rain. It takes a lot of rain to wash off those type of tracks, and it would take a LONG time for the Sun to fade them to a point where you couldnt see them.

In short, some of those marks are probably from the first aircraft to use that runway.

I worked on the TR-3B parts out of Skunk Works. Why don't you people start posting more pictures and quit jabbering. In case you don't know the Aroura is replace the shuttle in 2010. It looks just like it's picture. That was told on CNBC a month ago. We need to hear more about what's happening in 2008. Reason a lot of very very top secret items is being financed by the monies for the war. So, get updated and let me know if you need help.

You see, this sort of crap is why we should not allow anonymous posts.
