A township police man was arrested for child porn not far from the senators district. Microsoft alerted the government about porn on his computer. I posted a link in the thread about the senator.

Hearing up ahead in the case of Joshua Schulte, the suspected source in the WikiLeaks "Vault 7" tranche of CIA files. Schulte's team is trying to declassify 74 recordings the government produced during discovery.

Schulte's defense team want to go to his CIA workstation. Attorney Sabrina Shroff noted she never tried a case without visiting the "quote-unquote 'scene of the crime.'" Prosecution opposes. Location, they say, is classified, as is work done there.

Broadly, Schulte's been charged with the WikiLeaks CIA leaks; child pornography claims; and spilling more secrets from his MCC jailhouse. The defense attorneys say the last set of charges pose a conflict because they can be considered witnesses; they want those counts severed.

About thirty miles away from where the state senator lives, a township policeman was arrested for child porn last week: CUMRU TWP., Pa. - A high-ranking police officer in Berks County is in trouble with the law. The FBI on Tuesday arrested Cumru Township police Lt. Timothy Woll on criminal charges related to a child pornography investigation, according to the U.S. attorney's office in Philadelphia. The investigation began earlier this year, after Microsoft alerted the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to numerous images depicting child pornography being uploaded to a OneDrive account, according to the criminal complaint. The Berks County district attorney's detectives reviewed the images and identified Woll as the person who uploaded them to the OneDrive account, according to the court documents. The DA's office handed the case over to the FBI, which executed a federal warrant to search Woll's home on Shakespeare Drive in Spring Township on March 14. Agents said they seized a desktop computer and an external hard drive. The same day, agents went to the Cumru Township police station, where Woll agreed to speak with FBI agents about their investigation. He told them he could have accidentally "dragged and dropped" the files to the OneDrive folder on his work computer as he cleared away evidence from an adjudicated child pornography case that his department investigated, according to the court paperwork. The agents said Woll had no explanation for how the child pornography was uploaded to his OneDrive account from his home IP address. A forensic exam of the hard drive seized from Woll's home turned up approximately 300 thumbnail images that appear to be from deleted video files of child pornography that were previously on the device, according to the criminal complaint. WHO IS JOSHUA ADAM SCHULTE? FORMER CIA EMPLOYEE CHARGED OVER VAULT 7 LEAK

ederal prosecutors charged Joshua Adam Schulte, 29, a former CIA employee, with the theft of classified material secretly passed to WikiLeaks in what became known as the "Vault 7" leak. Schulte is also up on child pornography charges.

Contained within the Vault 7 dump of CIA files were details of the intelligence agency's computer hacking tools and capabilities, such as the ability to hack smart TVs and particular iPhones.

The Vault 7 documents also suggest that if a device is already compromised, encryption techniques used by messaging apps like WhatsApp to keep conversations private are effectively obsolete.

Schulte, who is from New York City, was indicted on 13 counts, including the illegal gathering of national defense information, the illegal transmission of lawfully possessed national defense information and possession of thousands of images of child pornography dating back to at least 2009.

Wait, Microsoft alerted the authorities about kiddie porn this guy has on his computer? That’s really a thing? Microsoft is scanning all of our hard drives and telling big brother about anything it finds that it doesn’t like?!?!

The ICMEC was formed in 1998 in the aftermath of the Dutroux Affair and the massive cover-up to save high-profile perpetrators. The Belgium public was outraged, there were large protests in the streets and the only man making progress in the investigation was sacked.

Several child protection agencies sprung up around the world, the NCMEC acting as a template organization who then founded ICMEC to act as the head coordinating effort. The NCMEC office is located nearby, also in Alexandria, VA.

The official launch of ICMEC was made in London 1999, launched by Hillary Clinton and Cherie Blair, wife of Tony Blair.

Trump hammers Fed, Powell for having 'no guts' on rate cut

President Donald Trump on Wednesday blasted the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision, accusing the central bank and Fed Chair Jerome Powell of having “no guts” for not meting out a more aggressive cut.

Last week, the president called the central bank “boneheads” for missing out on “a once in a lifetime opportunity” presented by historically low yields. Still, the Fed chief enjoys support from investors and top executives on Wall Street.

Justice Dept. IG referred James Comey for criminal prosecution

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz said Wednesday that he referred former FBI Director James Comey for criminal prosecution earlier this year after concluding he leaked sensitive materials to a friend.

Rep. Jody Hice, Georgia Republican, called Mr. Horowitz’s revelation of the criminal referral of Mr. Comey “monumental.”

Rep. Mark Meadows, North Carolina Republican, asked Mr. Horowitz if he would look into allegations Mr. Comey lied during his 2017 Senate testimony. Mr. Meadows said he believes there were “numerous” times when the ex-FBI director’s testimony did not match revelations included in the inspector general report.

Mr. Horowitz said he would look into the matter.

Microsoft alerted FBI when photos were uploaded to OneDrive ("the cloud")... as soon as he did that it was no longer localized on his device, was in the cloud

Even though the Justice department chose not to prosecute Comey for this, at least it is on record now in the IG's verbal testimony before the House Oversight and Reform Committee.

Comey will always have a dirty mark on his holier-than-thou persona he attempts to project.
