Hanson teamed up with Ben Goertzel, founder of open-source software project OpenCog, to create Sophia, Fast Company reported. Goertzel has openly thanked Epstein for “visionary funding” of his “AGI research.”

This is an area that continues to nag me with all of these key politicians who gave away so much of the U.S.... did they really give all that away for just a few tens of millions? That would still put them FAR behind the financial freedom of the 2,153 billionnaires. Would they really put their lives on the line for just 10 to 30 million?

If one takes the line that they did it for leverage/power then they would still be minnows in the pool of financial strength of people like Jeff Bezos, Rothschilds, Soros etc. Surely they would negotiate to get up to the top table for giving so much of their country away?

For some the only system of measurement is money and we as the slaves tend to see things through that prism. We'd never think "oh, did she just collect 100 Haitian kids to trade for a dozen Cambodian?" We can't grasp what folks who have zero need for money value as a standard of measurement.

There is also the soldier aspect. A soldier never says "what did we get out of that for the top levels" because their job is their job. In many cases the folks we know are carrying out orders from above, so we can't understand the actions as we don't see the game from that POV. I expect in many cases the thing they "get" is to live another day, or their family members live another day.

Of course there are the clone-bots who's motivation for anything is meaningless.

The Controllers are not here for money - they created it. They are here (were) for full invasion, control and eventual containment so from our POV nothing fits. We tend to apply our motivation, which is not even close to theirs. They are different.

In my experience folks are so often vexed by not understanding the motivation of another. They rarely if ever consider that the other person is NOT like them at all. Doing so is quite liberating.
