It's because 99% of the time the original quote is so twisted or the original sourced material makes so many assumptions that it's just impossible to take seriously. Then add in the posters bias and its a done deal...you just have to call it out or exit stage left not giving a flying f#%!.

So your reply was to a poster who offered the ''untwisted'' quote. That sounds good. However, did you compare that ''untwisted quote'' to the quotes in the OP? Guess what, they were exactly the same, just as is proved in a video of them being made by Trump posted much later in this thread.

Let me know when they have some sort of substantive criticism beyond Orange man bad! If your criticism is about how he is stupid or a liar then no one cares, did you think politicians told the truth? Did Trump invent lying? Is he the first politician to lie?

I don't believe that Trump thinks he is lying. He dosen't see it as lying. He just sees it as saying something, whatever something that comes to mind that makes him sound good. Truth doesn’t matter if it sounds good.

I think that's probably right , it's likely part of his personality disorder.

Even so he should be called out for it regardless of what the Trump Defence Force think.

Trump lies to get attention and it works every time, it is hilarious. The media and politicians know how to destroy someone who does the former but has no idea what to do with the latter. They can't help themselves but to give him all the attention he wants whenever he wants it and all he has to do is say something vague or exaggerated.
