I don't mind the standard advertisements.

The redirect was happening as I was reading not clicking. And redirected as I was trying to post hence this..

I downloaded an app called Adblock x and haven’t had a problem since.

same thing happens to me every so often. They come one after another. On an iPhone I turn on my airplane mode before I clear my catch twice. Nine times out of 10 that’s the end of the problem for a while . Even with Safari .

Galaxy s2 running off the WiFi not cell tower. Yes the loud ring sound exactly.

I use FF beta and never have these problems other than the always annoying banner ad in middle of the reply box. Which is caused, BTW, by the size of your soft keyboard.

FF beta on my phone, tablet on the Tmobile network.

If you want to ruin your luck , I would suggest the duck duck go browser . However don't complain when you stop getting 1000 dollar giftcards.

you'd think they would get upset that an ad is making their site unusable. which this one is.

I was getting it alot, even got rid of a few of my apps thinking it was them since one of them was also being a pain in the arse. I don't know if it was my going nuts on the danged thing and hitting the back button constantly a few hundred times, and being as insistent that it let me see the page as it was for me to "claim my prize" or that I just started turning my phone all the was off and resetting it. but, its back now, couldn't even get through the first couple of posts on the first page of this thread which for some reason seems rather ironic. danged think made me have to fit my kitty for my chair at my computer... she is off sulking now..poor baby.

anyone ever follow the danged thing to the end to claim their prize.. just wondering if my hunch is right and you have to give them your credit card information to pay the process fee to get the prize, which to your surprise will be waking up one morning and finding your bank account cleaned our or your credit card maxed out.

I did get one from another site ages ago. Just for fun I clicked through it to see what would happen. After filling in fake details it redirected me to another server that either didn't exist or was down. It's all just a trick to get email addresses. I don't remember being asked for a credit card but it was the usual "Free Iphone/Giftcard" type deal.
