I always thought KMFDM was a little strange, but highly under rated. Especially the older stuff.

I remember finding this on a VHS metal video compilation...I wore that tape out.

If you like this woman's voice and style, look for gospel of the witches, it's a bit more recent.

I know this isn’t exactly what you’re looking for .

But I’ve been pondering that question since dr. Hook and the medicine show .

Steven ‘N’ Seagulls are the hands-down winner in the Bizzarre category .

There’s even a pun in their name .

Everybody’s seen this one

How about this one ?

Even Classic rock

On top of that it also answers two more questions i’ve always wondered about .

How long are the winters in Scandinavia and exactly what the hell do they do to kill the time ?

I disagree with "hands down winner in Bizarre", though anachronistic works well.

It is basically a fiddleless bluegrass lineup with a couple cool twists. (I highly doubt these guys would describe themselves as "bluegrass", but regional definitions may allow it.)

Accordion features on only the earliest bluegrass recordings, before the style was codified.

Drums/percussion featured later and only in hybrid offshoots such as the Osborne Brothers (of "Rocky Top" fame) or (post-Monroe) Flatt & Scruggs. To this day, NO self-respecting traditional bluegrass band will have drums or percussion.

What I really like is that these guys have kept the overall stringband texture, but abandoned the tradition of flashy, obligatory solos.

Cool find, thanks for sharing.
