Dogs use the Earth’s magnetic field when they’re relieving themselves. Not only that, but canines choose to do so in a north-south axis, a new study published in the journal Frontiers in Zoology says.

I have watched my dog take a lot of craps in my backyard.
There is no lining up with the magnetic poles with him.
Sometimes his head is pointed north, but it is just as likely that his head is directed at any other compass point.
