No they don't. They just require verifiability and replication. The standard of proof in science is identical as science does not recognize the concept of an extraordinary claim as that would require a subjective pre judgement.

A claim might be statistically unlikely, but that determination could only be reached after an objective study.

Proof that Donald Trump is an alien would be functionally identical to proof that he was human. A DNA sample, for example. There is nothing extraordinary about a DNA sample.
