Despite our political difference I am distressed to hear that the news is causing you strong emotions like you describe.
Perhaps you should disconnect from the news for a while.

Epstein, while interesting and even compelling should not be affecting your personal life.

Maybe take some time and get outside while summer is still high upon us and reconnect with nature.

If anything happens you'll find out later. We will wait for you.

Well, I'm glad that I'm not the only one with these feelings. For the past couple months I've had this feeling that something is wrong, very wrong and have been buying extra supplies for my first aid kit and canned goods, dried milk, water, been keeping the fuel tanks on both vehicles topped off along with my gas cans. Not sure what I think is coming, but for some reason I'm thinking nature/weather related.

Also the Scriptural outlook seems to be synced well in almost there...any second now

In a year anyway huh!

Oh, I'm outside every day with the cows and such.

Not really affecting my personal life other than hoping nothing bad happens to people.

Nope I think you might be wrong, this seems different.

For the most part I'm a pretty happy go lucky person, with a pretty positive outlook on life. Sure there are a lot of bad things out there. Shootings, things with politics etc, that's not what this is about. From what I got from the OP, and how I feel personally, it is something more. I often wonder if people had this feeling before 9/11 and other major history changing events.

It is a deep sinking feeling, ominous is a word I'd use. It is scary. Maybe it is paranoia, maybe something more. I think we do not trust our intuition enough.

The Epstein thing really has me bugged. It's patently obvious there is something going on with this case, and it's so blatant and overt (in your face, style) that I can't wrap my head around how openly deceptive this whole thing is. In several post over the years here on ATS I tried to express my view ..and feelings.. about just that. These people are so convinced of their safety and the stupidity of the citizens that they can do whatever they want. A criminal organisation with the resources of a nation. These people have all their bases covered upto the supreme court. Their lies and activities are so brutal and horrifying that no normal person would believe there are elements of their own government behind it. Of course this is all speculation.

stock up on. One woman's answer was very typical: "Toilet paper," she said. She couldn't fathom a world without rolls of soft, nicely scented white squares of paper to wipe her ass. That was her big concern. That's the mentality that will kill us.

Hey buddy, Turkey shot down a UAE owned Chinese drone in the first week of August with a ground based laser over Libyan skies. This is the first combat use of a surface to air laser with a successfully destroyed target. What are your opinions on this matter, as an Emirate citizen?? Turkey getting too bold in your proxy zones or what??

Actually, maybe you should save that reply for the discussion I already have going for it. If you want too I mean. Specifically I am curious as to how this event, or the Libya war in general, is covered in the UAE media.

I've taken a long break from posting online, mainly because politics had gotten too ugly for me and because of personal health issues I'm dealing with, but I have kept up to date with news and headlines, avoiding most of the political garbage.

I had a nightmare recently, and it was incredibly real, in the dream I'm watching the news and Russia is accusing NATO and USA of covert operations to sabotage their new advanced nuclear powered defense/detection evading cruise missiles resulting in the "accident" that happened recently. Then later the internet gets weird, major sites and networks are inaccessible, then communications began going down in large areas, eventually nothing seems be working properly, power outages are happening everywhere, cable television networks are going out, then our power cuts out, but just before that happens I get an emergency alert on my phone, with no information. I go outside look at the sky and see hundreds of contrails to the west in Nevada... Then I woke up, realized it was just a bad dream, relieved I then think out loud, I have got to stop watching and reading so much damned news!

Even if something bad does happen what could I or anyone really do about it? Nothing!

There's no point in worrying about things beyond our control... life is too short!

I highly doubt that the laws of nature (psychics and fortune telling isn't a real thing after all) are being broken in your favor just so you can "feel" something coming. Sounds a lot more like a solid dose of both paranoia & arrogance to me. We're all just little pawns in the universe. Sorry, no special powers for you or anyone else.

There's a lot of people in this world and everywhere someone is always feeling like something is going to happen. Something is going to happen, eventually, always. And someone who thinks they are really special is going to say "i told you so". Meh.

i have had that feeling before. I even posted about it, way back in 2009, way back when I was very new and didn't know any better.

I believe we are living in a very interesting time. Most of us are so busy and live such chaotic lives that we don't see the storm coming until the rains are falling on us.
