A rat probably found it and delivered it to your place, then stole your lunch as payment for the delivery. I doubt if cockroaches could stand it up like that.

How well do you know the other people who have a key? How easily could have someone gotten the key from one of them? Any access to the room from a fire escape, is it locked? Is there anyway someone was hiding in the room when you locked up? Who knows your routine and how long you’ll be gone when you leave?

If you have a spare smart phone you can then download the app call Alfred and use your phone as a motion detecting video camera that uses the internet network to connect phone to phone. The free version only records in lower resolution, but good enough to catch someone sneaking in. Set it up for when you step out next time, you can even watch it live.

It could be nothing, but just in case it’s not, it’s a good idea to know who dislikes you enough to try and scare you.

One more thing...make sure it’s a real bullet and the lead doesn’t screw out and reveal a hidden joint or something. I’ve seen bullets used to hide drug paraphernalia. Maybe the other guy was in a hurry to get a buzz on before you returned, and he dropped it.

Got a little camera on now. It's an 8x8 room no closets or places to hide. No access but the one door. Checked the bullet. It is a love round. Used the powder to start a bonfire haha.
