I'll start by saying I voted for Trump. I also voted for Ross Perot for the two times he ran for President of the United States. I've wanted to see a Businessman President for a while now, and lest I divulge into another topic, I'll say Trump has done a good job so far, sans political experience. Every tweet drives every liberal crazy.

I'M ON TWITTER! I can say that I glance at most tweets, and swipe them off my mobile, but if one stirs the hive of mad liberal bees, and it gets media attention, then I research it.

Most have got this wrong. This whole Epstein thing. Way wrong. I'll start with a simple fact.

William Pelham Barr (born May 23, 1950) is an American lawyer and government official serving as the 85th United States Attorney General, in the Donald Trump administration since February 14, 2019. He also served as the 77th Attorney General from 1991 to 1993, in the George H. W. Bush administration

My point is, since February of this year. Who does the AG of the United States of America report to? President Trump.

This isn't Lynch and Obama folks. This is Barr and Trump. Most think they are sweeping the island, and yes, my first jerk reaction was YES they ARE sweeping the island. But, I thought about it, and Trump's campaign promise, and how he's fulfilled many of them, and how he's not a politician. He's a Businessman, a shrewd one, because IMHO, he's orchestrated all this.

Would Trump really have the balls to expose all the corrupt politicians? Will AG Barr get evidence and share it on social media? MSM? Curiously enough, MSM is following the story closely, a bit too closely for my comfort, and that factors in.

I do think he is attempting to drain the swamp. Via the Epstein/Clinton hit-list tweet. Fomenting Ideas. He's creating controversy, but in essence, pointing us to the right direction. He keeps tweeting, dropping clues, and most of Congress is in panic mode. Republican AND Democrat.

If President Trump gets the names of politicians from the Barr report, it's another 2 inches lower that the swamp has been drained. I think he will. If he does, we can once again hold pride in our constitution. If not, it's civil war, but that's another topic entirely.

That’s the thing about draining a swamp, it exposes a lot of mud, forces all kinds of critters to panic and try to find the last remnants of murky water to hide in.

Maybe Epstein is just one of those critters, dead and drying out in the sun while his friends watch from the evaporating puddles.

I don't know. I still think it's too early to tell where all of this is headed. But at this point, I'm pretty sure there is an all out war hidden behind the curtains.

As these events unfold, here's the bigger picture to keep in mind:

Barr: NO evidence = Corrupt system.

Barr: Evidence, here's names = ????

This is an unprecedented event. There will be a political takedown that has never been seen before. As much as I want to see names, and indictments, I can hope. Damage control on maximum.

If they pull this off, Trump and the AG, WOW. Following.

It's code for another round of tax cuts for the billionaires and another round of gutting consumer protection laws.

Only in YOUR reality , Pence.
Now , do you have anything at all to say on the OP's premise Trump may have instigated this entire affair ?

I have thought about this and other happenings since Trump became President
Though , I am undecided as to whether it is a bringing into the light , or a covering of tracks.

I agree with this assessment of the situation. Can see that a long term program has been in the works to help clean up some of the corruption going on and bring things back closer to reality. Trump has made it clear that he prefers a fast trial with so many cases backing up as the investigations are spreading. Things are lining up for a clean and manageable resolution to some chronic misdirections.

Does no one remember "Israel will have to pay a higher price because they won a very big thing" --as Trump changes the US Embassy to Jerusalem.

I know a lot of people had lost patience with Trump ref quotes about Clinton going to jail (The debates) but look what may be unfolding.

I believe more people than ever are at least talking about the level of corruption and down right criminal activities that past officials have been happy to sweep under the carpet and that is a very good thing, one has to wonder how Epstein was able to operate for such lengths of time and one has to say it is obviously due to friends and customers in very high power positions.

I am not from USA but I certainly would be happier with Trump leading the way than the current other options, and yes he is about as refined as a sledge hammer but in this day and age of political correctness that simply hampers a commonsense approach maybe it was just what was needed.

Draining the swamp takes time, and it does not help when people keep hitting the emergency stop button whilst shouting about their own flawed rhetoric, if he gets a second term I feel that you "may" just get long term change for the better.

If not then expect the country to get sent down the river by the next person that is happy to sell you short..

I’ll buy ya a pitcher if any of that happens bud.

It’s been how long and how many swamp creatures has he got rid of besides the ones he hired?
Ya don’t hire crap to fire it and claim you are doing what you promised. You force the existence of those to leave.
Clearly you don’t or can’t see what he is doing.
Need some eye drops?

Does no one actually read Barr's wiki page? He was involved in setting up an early version of mass illegal surveillance and covering up Iran-Contra. He is of the swamp. This should have been obvious from being H. W.'s AG as well. Or does no one read Family of Secrets and know that Bush sr. was a lifelong CIA asset and part of the conspiracy to assassinate JFK? Bolton, Haspel, Barr, Pompeo. Trump sure keeps some strange company for someone that supposedly wants to drain the swamp.

"Drain the swamp" really just means kicking out rival puppets. The Clintons aren't the swamp, they are minions. The same for the Bushes. This is all just bickering between egotistic sociopaths who want to be as high in the pecking order as possible. Note that Bernie is the one name dropping the military industrial complex, not Trump who is continually surrounding himself with other MIC lackeys. Trump isn't railing against mass illegal surveillance of everyone by the three letters, he is crying about his rivals censoring his foolish supporters on social media.

Wasn't the POTUS quoted recently tweeting something like:

"If the american people knew what was really going on behind the scenes
they'd be to afraid to sleep at night" ?

I know I heard that some where.

I think the quote you want is "if only you knew how bad things really are" or something similar. Its a 4ch meme.

The quote you mention was a director at NASA saying if the people knew what he did they wouldnt be able to sleep at night.

Hope springs eternal for some, eh?

I'm with you. I've brought up Barr's disgraceful protection of Lon Horiuchi at Ruby Ridge many times... it doesn't get much worse than that! And Iran-Contra sure isn't much better.

So, yeah, Barr protects the guilty. I don't expect any more or better this go around.

This is all smoke and mirrors set up by Trump. Remember when he said he likes chaos? Well, he's creating chaos within our government by pitting people against each other, against our government, and against allies. He's dividing people along political and social lines where we choose a side like team sports so we can Duke it out. Meanwhile he's able to do his dirty deeds on the sideline while we fight the other side on the field of play. Nothing will happen to anyone on Trump's side. Trump is playing everyone.
