HUSO

Hey yall, There have been other threads on this subject, but nothing that seemed substantial enough. A seldom few on ATS have described this as a machine which projects music through headphones that move one's brain to a different state. This must be very close to binaural beats which is nothing new. However... It also has 4 pads which use sound vibration to further push one's mind and body into a relaxed and meditative state.

Very interesting. Here are the ATS links : HUSO 1
HUSO 2

I'd absolutely love something that furthers my meditation experience. However, the price is $500 and I am not very susceptible to brainwave sound meditations. Nor, any other trance. Although it does help a bit..

I just am wondering if this works for people who have a harder time reaching deep states of meditation.

Also, I am curious of the $500 30-day return policy.

I am only writing this because the two ATS threads on HUSO have been very shallow. Thanks for listening and I think any tool that helps us meditate and reach some sort of mental peace is great!

Final Question, if anyone has bought this or at least tried it; is it worth the high price of $500?

Technologies like this are the entire future of medicine.

No, I wouldn't spend five hundred bucks on that when you can make a similar system for a lot less.

I use good earbuds at night to listen to various things to help me sleep and drown out the wife's snoring. I listened to a bunch of the binaural tones on YT for a while, trying the different types and pitches. The best ones for me were the ultra low frequencies. I slept better but there was no revelation or magic that happened, just a more relaxed sleep and when I did wake up during the night I got back to sleep faster.

I have it. I paid $60 down and then $39.95 a month through their payment plan. I do think it’s pretty amazing but i go into a meditative state easily. I really want to try Muse as well. I do credit Huso for dramatically improving my auto immune disorder.

it looks really interesting. I have trouble with many of the issues it's supposed to help. Meditation is part of my "tool kit" so I'd be super interested to try this thing. I just went to a sleep specialist and I'm working on my sleep hygiene...$500 would be worth every penny of it helped with sleep, anxiety, fight and flight...

I have no idea if Huso is real or a scam.

I drowned out my wife's snoring by never getting married. 100% efficient.

I vaguely recall reading about huso, I think.. nothing really sticks out as it being more than binaural. Which I find very effective. Mostly when I try to relax. I find it's often subtle, but there are times when I'll suddenly realise I've nodded off for an hour, and I'm a stubborn insomniac!

Can't offer any words to this though... we're all different, some get ASMR, others dont.. some can see 3D stereographs without glasses, some cant (the cross eyed ones, not the stupid magic eye ones).. etc. made to look the same as each other, wired completely separate.

Hmm wow thanks for the response.. i might try it to see how i react.

Im very interested in the meditation aspect of it. Does it seem to have a powerful effect on newbie or amateur meditators?

Is it like binaural beats. Some react and are easily effected. Some people is doesn't really effect. Im wondering if it is subtle or very noticeable.

Well a handful of ATS usersuse it and like it..

I had a hard time finding anything on other websites though.

I can't imagine this being a total scam. Its biggest advertisor is probably word of mouth. And you need a big word of mouth to convince ppl to spend $500.

Well u can make your own binaural beats but they have sound pads that do something.

If the effects are like a binaural beats youtube video, i can't imagine people buying it for $500.

Yes, but you can make those too if you're into that type of stuff.

I'm wondering if the pads act like a therapist using EMDR therapy...left...right...left...right...left...etc I'm currently doing it and we use both following with your eyes and tapping my legs.
