Epstein Civil Docs Released and Posted at Courthouse News

Whoa! After an almost successful effort by Epstein girlfriend/accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell to keep depositions and other filings sealed in a civil lawsuit by Epstein's victims, the appeals court overturned the lower court's ruling to keep the documents under seal, and the docs have been released!!!

The documents themselves The PLAINTIFFS’ RESPONSE TO DEFENDANT’S MOTION FOR SUMMARY JUDGMENT can be found at Courthouse News (pdf).

Several outlets are reporting on the contents. As I expected, Prince Andrew of England has been named and shamed by two victims:

Prince Andrew named in unsealed Epstein documents: 'Sex slave', then 17, alleges she was intimate with royal at Ghislaine Maxwell's London home while second young woman claims she was groped by prince at paedophile Jeffrey Epstein's house

And other political connections:

But not Trump:

The documents, however, contain denials that Trump and some other world leaders were involved in untoward behavior. In a 2016 deposition Giuffre said that Trump “didn’t partake in any sex with us … and never flirted with me”.

Nor Clinton:

Bill Clinton had also been linked to Epstein’s social circle but the documents contained no untoward revelations.

Former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson IS named and shamed:

The documents include one containing flights records showing that President Donald Trump flew on Epstein's private plane in 1997, and another in which Giuffre, says Maxwell directed her to have sex with former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and other prominent people.

His taste in literature isn't going to help him:

With titles like “SlaveCraft: Roadmaps for Erotic Servitude – Principles, Skills and Tools” and “Training With Miss Abernathy: A Workbook for Erotic Slaves and Their Owners,” the evidence appeared as part of a lawsuit by Virginia Giuffre against alleged Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.

As is Al Gore, Bill Gates, Dershowitz, theres vastly more info though, remember this is testimony from one of many underage sex slaves. This testimony is just scratching the surface and only captures one poor childs experience.

Very true... this document is just 74 pages of a reported 2000 pages.

I'm wondering how many of the girls will name the same men again and again. I'm pretty much expecting it, but could just as easily be wrong! It will be interesting for whatever insight into just how Epstein and Maxwell operated.

Really hate this stuff. It can't be proven. What is the point. No different that Comey's memos. It just something someone said. So what.

True enough and fair enough. I suppose in the end it will come down to the totality of the evidence.

There is a photo of Prince Andrew with his arm around one of the underage girls, taken at Ghislaine Maxwell's London apartment. So to that extent, Prince Andrew cannot feign complete ignorance and/or innocence. He has some explaining to do...

The level of verifiable incriminating evidence will probably vary by individual.

Thanks -- glad you appreciate it! I always like reading the source when possible, as well as the thoughts and supplementing info from others.

Took me a while to track one down though, and this is the only one so far. Hopefully by tomorrow morning there will be more posted, and I can post it here.

Could be! This is just one girl's deposition, though she refers to other girls.

I'm very curious to see what else -- WHO else -- is in those docs.

Nobody is convicting Prince Andrew or anybody else with testimony.

Well, to the extent that these particular documents are from a civil trial not a criminal trial, you're right -- no convictions. But also keep in mind that in a civil case, the burden of proof is lower; a preponderance of the evidence, not guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. But Ghislaine Maxwell is the defendant, not Prince Andrew, so no risk to him.

On the other hand, there is nothing that we know of to keep this information from making its way to Epstein's criminal trial, in which case it becomes part of the totality of evidence, and could help convict Epstein.

Time will tell and we'll find out together

Little bit different than the Duke Lacrosse team, though. That was a direct case against them, this is side testimony from a case against an individual with other tertiary people involved. I don't think anyone expects Prince Andrew to face charges... but Lordy if/when Epstein is convicted the high assed royal's public image will sure be in tatters.

I'm half expecting... maybe more than half... that Prince Harry will be dragged into this as well. The timing is right. Harry was coming of age at the time, and it wouldn't seem out of character for Uncle Randy Andy to want to invite his nephew along...

There are also rumors about Meghan Markle, Harry's new wife. But it seems her internet history has been scrubbed darn good. I have seen posts and comments that purport to show pictures of Meghan in questionable situations, but the pictures are no longer available. I don't know what to make of it al. Just things that make you go "hmmmmm....."
