I do not know why people can not understand the difference between "illegal" and "legal".
There is not one case where Trump has tried to stop immigration unless it was illegal or a threat to our nation.

Isn’t it funny how that works? I’m constantly referred To as a leftist shill by most people on “the right” side of the spectrum and those on the “left” hate the fact that I support the constitution, Particularly the BoR because I’m able to see the big picture and support the first amendment with zero regard for whether I agree with or like the position being espoused by sole parties and despite my “left leaning” sensibilities, my time in the military taught me a profound respect and appreciation for the second amendment and I’m all for protecting Amendments 1 and 3 through 27 with number 2.

It always amuses me how blinded by strict partisanship people have become and the divide of “us vs. then” widens with each passing day as people lose sight of the larger picture by thinking that their representatives actually represent the interests of their constituents over those who finance their campaigns. We’re all SO Busy pointing fingers and yelling about TDS that the real threats to our way of life are all but ignored as we follow the rotting carrot at the end of a broken stick.

Nope, as I said, Illegal or A THREAT TO OUR NATION.

Not that I agree with the position totally but in many cases "chain immigration" allows recent immigrants to get citizenship for their unskilled and government-dependent relatives. Mostly, these immigrants are from "sh*thole countries.

I am pretty sure he is talking about sh*tty people from Sh*thole countries, is where the chain immigration needs to cease.
As I said, I don't agree totally with the ending chain immigration. What I meant was if they can come here and be productive citizens then it should be allowed.
If they hate this country and want to make it more like the sh*thole they left, if they are totally unskilled and will be nothing but a burden or if they are linked to terrorism then they should not be allowed to come.

Agreed. This is the way I look at all immigration.

Edit to add I don't mind unskilled immigration as long as they're willing to work and support themselves.
