Trump could easily be beat if they dialed back the staunch left policies that have no way of ever becoming reality. They bit down hard on the Green New Deal. I don't even think those who said they supported it even read it. It was just hot in the news and they ran with it. Not only did it not make any sense, nobody voted for it. The person who authored it said it's ok, don't vote for it. WTF?

Open borders ok. Where in the world does that work like a charm. Oh, that would be nowhere on the planet at any point in recorded history.

I could go down the line but no way is the electoral college voting for any staunch radical ideas like paying off all student debt, free tuition for all. Not going to happen so drop it and find some common ground.

In the real world, no. If he does win, he will scrape by as he did in 2016 with crafty, specific, targeting of just the right demographics. He's a great campaigner, self-promoter, and strategizer. As for there being nothing to support criminal charges of obstruction when he is out of office, read the Mueller report and try to understand why Mueller didn't pursue criminal charges against a sitting President. He absolutely could be charged when out of office. If not re-elected that is.

If it were an ATS poll, Trump would be forecast to win in a landslide. In the real world, no.

It will not be a landslide for either side, which may pose other problems as we have seen in voting past.

Yes, I must admit that the news article I posted a link to was a satire. Sorry about the troll. Gore already has a sweet gig going on with his lobbying for environmental issues. As for him running for president, he has shown no inclinations to do so. Even Steve Jobs tried to get him to run in 2004 and couldn't do it.

He technically won in the 2000 election but the supreme court handed it to GW Bush with barely a complaint from voters.

In continuation of the two term president cycle, Trump will most probably be reelected. He has many of good ideas that need implementing.

All of the comments I have read are nothing but MSM talking points.

The current president has been attacked by the left, right and media since before he was in office. Since then they have tried everything to get him out.

Each week it is a new thing. A book comes out and the media screams he it going to have to resign. Russian Collusion. A message of hate is not coming from the White House but from CNN and the like.

People, in the real world, are sick of it. The media and elected officials are calling over a third of the population White Supremacists now. How do you think Ben Carson and Trumps grand kids feel about that because if it was true he would want them all dead. Hell he is married to an immigrant. Let that sink in.

Trump will win in 2020 based on the fact those who supported him before still do and those who were on the fence are jumping it.

You're basically spewing left wing propaganda. The Democrats want to charge him, not anyone else, which is also why Mueller didn't find a crime and didn't charge the President as that is his role and job as Prosecutor.

Yep and the reason is simple: The Democrats are throwing everything at the wall to see which sticks or gets the elected. We are watching one side of the political court ramble on about how Trump is a horrible person and he is a this label and a that label or a threat to this part of the US or that part of the free world blah blah blah and Trump is loving it because I think he wants it that way. They cannot put any real proposals forward because for all his ills (and there are some) the US is doing better under Trump than under Obama and the Demos are hating it.

If he f up on the trade war and hasn't explained the consequences of a prolonged trade war he is done regardless of the other person.

If the election is fair and Democrats don’t get to use dead and illegal voters it will be a landslide for Trump. Since we know they will cheat it will be close.

i don't see anyone winning against the current president.
even the party i am registered to, has no one that even comes close to a threat to take the presidency.
