To keep this on topic because I think it is relevant. When this film was cut by the studio way back it was HORRENDOUS. The director's cut is top 10 all time. Same story, same general information just assembled in a different way entirely.

My point is we have a few companies controlling what we get, when and how. They only hire those they feel fit their profile assuring a "studio cut" of all information.

Any adjustments to the core information - headline shift on newspaper, buried lede, corrections locked in a safe, can fully alter the message.

Beauty can be altered to be hell, hell can be beautified.

The recent example, folks tweeting DJT lied and said he was a first responder. They twitASs lied about what was said, but that headline infected our collective.

Agency is our biggest problem. Allowing others to stand between us and anything (for profit or control).

While it is hard to imagine life any other way, this way is the anomaly in all of expressions. Consider that - this is the standout not the norm, as to deny access to anything is considered an abomination.

Agency on everything here: food, water, information, relationships, health and even access to god for some. Look around your world a who or what stands in between you and all you want, need and are (does anyone want an AI in that position?)
