It's the unknown unknowns of the cult world that concern me most.
But, what boggles my mind is how some people can just go along with these evil manipulating psychopaths. Seems to happen all too often. Apparently brainwashing is not difficult to do on vulnerable targets of opportunity.

One would expect a "licensed psychologist" or "licensed clinical psychologist" or a psychiatrist (an M.D. who is board certified in psychiatry) to have performed a clinical exam.

The degree most psychologists get is a Psy.D which is what clinically practicing psychologists mostly have.

A Ph.D in psychology is what one gets if one wants to teach or do academic research.

"Doctoral level" psychologist has pretty much no meaning, except to me it indicates the person doesn't actually have any psychology degree and is not properly licensed by the state. I've seen/heard people pull this kind of scam back when I did licensing, "Board qualified" or "board eligible" instead of actually "Board certified", that sort of thing.

I think the human brain was designed to latch on to leaders this way and many are like sheep as we always hear.

I once read an article about the areas of the brain affected by religion being the same as addiction centers of the brain.

Certain people might never join in but after the great awakening happens we should endeavor to teach the young how to think for themselves.

It's really criminal that the powers that be have allowed so many nefarious groups to manipulate so many people.

They do it as well and are behind all the seemingly unconnected cults and fringe groups and cartels and gangs and all of it makes money.

Again, I so hope Q is true.

Yes, hardly ever considering the price to be paid once their proclivity has been served - proverbial "deal with the devil" and short term thinking that gives up personal power to achieve worthless goals in its place.
