Ha, says who?? I've taken a life insurance policy out on my ex wife and my brother, and two of my kids, all w/o them knowing about it. Perfectly legal.

The way I understand it is the insuree takes out the policy and names the beneficiary.

If you think about it, his life insurance policy beneficiaries could be it's own form of "life insurance" and a dead man's switch itself. He had to know naming Bill Gates, for example, as a beneficiary would result in serious eyeballs towards the nature of their relationship.
If he's alive, noone needs to know but the lawyers. If he's dead, well, Bill Gates is now front and center in the Epstein story.

Maybe Epstein was afraid of the Deep State, too, once he was reeled in and disposable. From his point of view (and it may yet prove to be true), the same federal govt which had been enabling anf protecting him just locked him up, made him the sacrificial goat, and seized all the blackmail info, pics, vids, financials, whatever he was saving for a rainy day or life insurance as "evidence". All the other big players probably come out tainted, but untouched. He can't stay alive if that evidence isn't in his control. If the feds have it, they might "lose" it, seal it, or otherwise make sure it never comes out. He's completely expendable and vulnerable.

Maybe naming Gates and/or other people was a final flip of the bird because he knew he was toast. Or maybe the lawyers communicated the contents of the new will to the relevant parties in attempt to keep him alive. Not as good as actual evidence in hand, but better than nothing. If it was such an attempt, it wasn't enough.

That’s not how that works.

The person who is paying for the policy becomes the beneficiary (in most cases) and the insurance company then acts as an agent of that insurer.

Example: You can take out a life insurance policy on your spouse that works on an oil rig without their knowledge while making yourself the beneficiary.

Fun fact... if you’re married and one of the two of you takes out a life insurance policy on the other, then statistically, their chances of being the victim of spousal homicide increases by double digit percentages.

Insurance companies LOVE IT when that happens, too. Because if the beneficiary murders their spouse and it’s proven in a court of law, the insurance company doesn’t have to pay out the beneficiary.

Sure you can. Some companies take out life insurance policies on their employees to collect incase they die on the job.

Agree. As i posted here, there are a lot of similarities when comparing AB to the head on the 'dead body' pic.

And that's the thing, we're not comparing alive pics between each of them (even though i think they are very similar), we're comparing each of their pics to the ones we have after the "suicide". In that comparison, it seems to be a closer match to AB than it does to JE.

I will acknowledge though an issue with that would be what did they do with AB for 14 months. Keep him on ice and thaw out for this situation? Possible of course. Not quite so sure on plausibility though...
