There are a couple of things in a cell of this type that are not shown in this graphic.

There will be a sprinkler, one or two air ducts (inflow and outflow), and a smoke detector, likely within the outflow duct.

Inmates have hung themselves from sprinklers and wall ducts high on a wall, or up on the ceiling.

I've also read there was a double-bunk in Epstein's cell. He could have hung himself from the upper bunk as well.

One edit on the apparent "barred wall". If that is an accurate depiction of the front of the cell, he could have hung himself from that as well.

I thought it depicted that the wall was reinforced with rebar or it was a reinforced, tempered window, but I'm not sure what that is supposed to depict.

Wouldnt it be upped the Anti 60-40. W were already upped from 20>40. Feels to me we just got another jump from 40>60. Perhaps this happened because all the anons, diggers etc, havent freaked the heck out over what we have discovered on our own after begin given a drop to dig apart?

Even if there were bunks, how did he secure the sheet enough that it would support all his body weight? From everything I’ve seen, the beds are mounted to the walls, and there are no spaces, gaps or anything else that could be used to tie anything to (by design, of course). I still don’t understand how this happens...

Inmates work at the welded areas to loosen pieces of metal, usually for weapons, et al. It doesn't take much to wreck a cell if you really want to.

They keep track of staff on their own and with the help of other inmates in the area. There is plenty of time to get things done.

The question is how often do staff do cell and area searches, which would find and document this kind of damage.

Is that a CIA wall star there, on the upper left?
