Just wondering if it's usual for medics to leave a deceased person's face uncovered?

It's just that I thought if they were picking up a dead body, don't they usually cover the entire body before moving it anywhere, or put it in a body-bag or summat?

SDNY in statement points out that Epstein’s allegations were part of a conspiracy - so the investigation doesn’t end. Good point to make is that anyone who was hoping to get a good deal by cooperating against Epstein may have lost that opportunity.

Any lawyers want to comment on Epstein's death stopping all action on the case? Will charges have to be filed against new defendants to reopen the investigation?

Good questions

1. I doubt that's the hospital. More likely the jail basement.

2. Only certain people can pronounce death. Until that time the inmate is treated as though alive. He was sent to the hospital for official pronouncement of death, at which time custody of him passes to the ME and he is removed from the count at the facility he came from.
