Blueish Plasma-based Directed Energy Weapon Tested on Brazilian City?!

Like a moviescene where some supervilain vaporizes cities with his death ray.

Except this is not fiction. And that supervillain could be a power much larger.

That's what happens when a big high voltage electrical relay station shorts out. You can see the electricity frying the wires. Brazil is notorious for having an absolutely terrible electrical grid with a good chunk of the population (the poverty-stricken half) illegally tapping into it. It's a freekin nightmare.

Good CGI , but why add the spiders crawling on the right side of the screen ?

The video has been slowed down a good bit which made the sound of the transformer and whats probably a web of powerlines sound weird and heavier on the low frequency end. But its obvious its a transformer blowing and the lines frying to the next pole. What a hack job on this video...like hella bad.

Been so many transformers blow since the earths shield is decreasing i thought everyone had seen similar by now.

Fake.....no real seen blastmarks.....and no flare lighting on the highrises when the blue beam from hell is flashin big time in front of the midrise

Nah its not fake...this is what it looks like when high voltage equipment fails and cascades. They just slowed it down a lot so it looked like it lasted a lot longer and didn't sound it would normally cause most people who've been around a while have seen transformers blow. You can even see the lines running to the next pole burning up too.

That's pretty much all phone wires in the picture. The power is at the very top.

This is from January 2019 parts of it look pretty similar . You can see the cascading effect of transformers shorting out .

It was an illustration to prove a point, but are you suggesting that Brazil's electrical grid is actually a well-monitored, safe and efficient system?

Somethings going on with that video, why do all the buildings look fake? They are all perfectly lit with no shadows on them. It’s defiantly not direct energy weapons, you can see everything coming from a power pole but the whole setting looks fake.

Cool video. Like others have said, it appears to be high voltage power lines and transformers. I have only seen this in person one time and it was not a big transformer that blew, it made a big flash and some weird sounds when it blew. It also caught a tree close by on fire, but it was raining and it went out pretty quick. I wouldn't think that a wet tree would burst into flames.

Now this video looks fake IMO, at least the background city. If you follow the line of burning wires, it looks like everything behind it is a fake backdrop and everything in front of it looks more real, but it is blocking the line of sight of the burning wires. This is often how they do movie sets, a painted backdrop with models in front of it to give a 3D look. I'm not saying that is what's happening, I just think it looks like that.
