What changed?

Brennan and other corrupt DS dinosaurs have been removed from their agencies by Trump.

They are more vulnerable than they have ever been...now that they can't control their exposure.

Maybe... but those "dinosaurs" would include James Comey and Mueller... and I find it hard to believe that Team Maurene Comey decided now's a great time to ruin Daddy and (maybe) Godfather!!!

Mueller was just the front for Weissman in the SC.
Weissman is DS.
Mueller delegated everything to Weissman and spent most of the time drunk.
Comey and Mueller were used to put Weissman in place.

Remember...Epstein is a genius-level broker.
When he stopped brokering stocks...he began brokering intelligence and blackmail material.

He became quite wealthy from his skills, organization and contacts.

She is not in charge.
Trump-appointed prosecutor is.
The guy is a friend/protégé of Giuliani.

She may not be "thee" boss but she is "a" boss on the case:

She started in the office as a clerk in 2014, joined the office permanently in 2015, and is listed as one of three lead prosecutors handling the case against Epstein. Her leadership on such a high-profile case after four years with the office suggests a steady climb.

Curiously enough, her previous cases don't exactly recommend her for a high profile public corruption case like this:

Comey has also worked on: an ongoing case of a security guard accused of killing four others in White Plains, New York, where prosecutors are seeking the death penalty; a case against the treasurer of a volunteer fire department who embezzled over $5 million and was sentenced to over 6 years in prison; the successful conviction of a gang-member who opened fire on a Valentine's Day party, killing one; and other gang-related cases.

At the very least, one has to consider the potential conflict of interest if anything incriminating is found against James Comey in the process of the investigation. For that reason alone, I question the judgment of putting Ms. Comey into that position.

ETA: Source: James Comey's daughter is a lead prosecutor on Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking case. Here's what we know about her.

My take on that post was, people from SA wanted to come into the country with little scrutiny to party. Along with other possible nefarious reasons listed in that post.

my 2 cents.

Who is to say Maureen isn't being used as a 'controlled' leak to the DS (Daddy et al)?

OR he is an average scumbag who got drug into a political debacle...

From my understanding the only truest credible allegation against Epstein is that he was hiring under age prostitutes , for sex sometimes, but usually nude erotic massages..

Now obviously he is a scumbag, but that is miles away from him running a super secret pedophile ring for the elites..

His sentence in that case is probably par for the course for any rich scumbag accused or something similar.

So big bad Weissman pulled the wool over poor drunk Mueller's eyes? I don't believe it for a minute. Mueller is dirty as dirty can be and always has been. Weissman did nothing without Mueller's knowledge, consent and cooperation/support.

Nothing "average" about THIS particular scumbag.

Maybe... or maybe that's backwards. Maybe he's a genius level spy/informant who started brokering stocks as part and parcel of his intelligence and blackmail activities.

Maybe he isn't really wealthy at all, and simply has one awesome expense account with his deep state clients.

Mueller is scummy...but Weissman has ALWAYS been his handler.

You are right.
He's nowhere near as wealthy as is claimed.

Supposedly, he was asked about it during his interview for the position he now holds.

He says he was told it was above his pay grade and that Epstein belonged to intelligence..

Why do you say that? Seriously...

Mueller was a major player before Weissman was even out of law school!

It could be that Acosta was simply a middle man between the feds and the state. Acosta may not have had anything at all to do with the deal the Feds made with Epstein but was simply the "face" of it -- the one known to the Florida attorneys. The Florida attorneys may not have known anyone above Acosta was involved in any way.

In that scenario, both Acosta and the Florida attorney could be telling the truth as they know it. Just not the whole truth. Chances are none would even know the whole truth.

This makes me wonder about his home in New York, supposedly the biggest house in the neighborhood -- a very ritzy neighborhood.

Do we know if Epstein's name is on the deed? Does he have a mortgage? (He's been in the house for a while). Did he ever have a mortgage? Or did he pay cash? And how much?

(Not asking you specifically... but if you do know, please share!)

It looks like Epstein paid $10 for it!

It was officially deeded for $10 in 2011 from Wexner’s corporation to Epstein’s Maple, Inc. US Virgin Islands-based corporation according to New York City land records.

Mueller became compromised along the way. He was still valuable...but a loose cannon.
The man is a severe alcoholic.
Weissman is a 'company' man.

Les Wexner previously owned the building...Epstein started out working for Wexner...now he's living in Wexner's outrageously-expensive, 6-story NYC building.
Look up Wexner and his and Ep's history with Ehud Barak.

Thank you -- but WOW!!!

I wasn't sure what to expect. Maybe that it was in some (shell) company's name or something. But I sure didn't expect that. Just freaking wow.

I kinda sorta figured that much...

Thank you for explaining that. I will keep this in mind going forward... especially when Weissman's book comes out. Or maybe it has already, but I haven't heard that. Just the hype about him writing it. Which I figure is a just way to tie up all the Russian collusion loose ends with a pretty bow for the Democrat faithful of course.
