Urgent consultations in DC & Moscow on reported US-Russian submarine incident

US submarine intercepted a Russian nuclear sub in American waters opposite Alaska. The Russian sub escorting the nuclear submarine responded with a Balkan 2000 torpedo and scuttled the US vessel. US Vice President Mike Pence called off an appearance in NH after being recalled to WA for a conference called by Trump without explanation.
Putin cancelled an engagement and headed for the Kremlin to confer with Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and military chiefs, after learning that 14 submariners died in a fire that broke out on a nuclear-powered “experimental submarine in Russian waters.”

is this for real? sounds like an action movie intro. then again, much IS going on behind the scenes.

will be interesting to see what the official story is. and when it finally is released during these tense times for US Military.

Actually, the article claims that the Russians sank a US sub, with a "Balkan 2000" torpedo. A two minute internet search does not turn up any such thing as a "Balkan 2000" torpedo. I wouldn't get excited about this report just yet.

how insightful. sometimes I forget its not about 'sides' for TPTB.. since they play both sides against each other from armchair. generating war is their business and they win regardless which 'side' does at the moment. dropping hints here and there seems to be their amusement, whether Hollywood or some publication like the 'Economist
