I heard Don Lemon defending these people. Why are they still allowed to show up at events in their masks, skinny jeans, and armed with weapons?

But you'll notice that these douchebags never appear in the South or in a red city. Just once is all it would take because the police wouldn't stand down and the citizens would beat the hell out of all of them.

If you look close he already has blood on the right side of his face so he had already been attacked. Which is most likely why he pulled the baton out. Having the means to defend yourself doesn't mean you are the instigator.
