Newb here and I'm not into politics; heck, ironically the first time I heard of Tulsi Gabbard is on YT suggested video.

Not just any video, but the one above saying she is the #1 searched term in the whole country.

Who knew? Suppose I might as well find more about her. Is she like ex-military or something?

And why o why are people searching her more than anyone, anything else?!?

Maybe because Google wants her to be #1.

They can manipulate the data/algorithms to sell to you anything they want to tell you.

She did very well in first Democrat debate the other night.

Many people took notice and searched for more info on her.

She's a U.S. Congresswoman (Hawaii) and an Officer in the Hawaii Army National Guard.

She wasn't well known until the other night when she got National Exposure.

Oh, I see.

So she is our next (and first female, as well as Polytheist) President??

It says she was raised catholic and hindu but chose hinduism as her religion.

I though all presidents were or had to be Christians/Jesuits but apparently a few were atheist.

MSNBC and NBC were falling all over themselves with their gushing praise for Castro. It was hilarious listening to them really lay the accents on his name.

Any candidate who puts down "The New Green Deal" is ok by me.
I doubt if Google would push a candidate who did such
In fact , given their propaganda tactics of late , I KNOW they would not.

Frankly, she was the least ridiculous individual on the dais Wednesday evening. She neither put her foot in her mouth nor did her ideas put that foot to the ass of the American people which matters when everyone else on the stage is pogo sticking around on one leg alternating between their own mouth and that symbolic ass.

Clearly, they adored his plan to offer free, on demand abortions to transwomen... AKA "women" who are biologically males in drag and cannot even produce an egg, let alone gestate one since they lack a womb.

I wouldn't put it past them to attempt to manipulate the early poll numbers.

I have no faith in the "integrity" of internet companies.

She is too level headed...

There has been quite a bit of bias against her. Here she is on Tucker addressing it. Ask yourself, would any of those other candidates go on Tucker? Probably not...

Colbert grilled her pretty hard. When was the last time you saw someone like Colbert asking hard questions like he was of her? Clear bias compared to the other politicians he typically has on the show. He got some marching orders to try to shut her down.

Minor details......I'm sure they fact checked him on that, am I right?

S&F Letni. I watched the video. The point that I got out of it was that Tulsi is a non-conformist Democrat. I didn't watch the debates but what Niko said about her stand on election reform sounds like she isn't the typical pandering democrat. I'll still vote Trump but I'll have to find out more about her. Maybe she the candidate for 2024.

Yeah... Too bad the voters don't really get to pick the Democratic candidate. Those morons...

They want to abolish the electoral college, but they don't want democracy for their own party.

She is what Democrats used to be.... so she might as well call herself a Republican at this point.

Her big thing is she did some time in the sandbox and doesn't support all the useless wars.

Look at the video I posted of her and Colbert. He literally tried to tie David Duke and some other racists to her because they apparently mentioned they like her. He was grilling her on Assad and pulling out of the middle east. No way Colbert was asking these questions on his own. Any other politician that comes on his show it is all yuk, yuk, yuk and jokes... she gets on his show and now he wants to get into the weeds about war policy, etc.

Is it that hard to believe? Google, YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, etc have been silencing conservative voices for years. They have been on multiple videos admitting it. I remember when Hillary had a 99-100% chance of winning the presidency. How'd that turn out?

Others have noted Google is to be taken with a grain of salt, and that's fair.

The US as a whole isn't really that political, with the numbers of people who watched the debate, I'm skeptical.

There is a possibility I suppose as she's the only palatable dem for independents. She still has some deal breakers for me, so unlikely she'd get my vote unless she toned down on a few areas... But she'll get my primary vote as I like to vote in both primaries even if I won't vote come the election.

Project Veritas aside, 50% of people vote in general presidential elections. Only about 50% of that number belong to a party. This phase of candidates aren't popular as they are going to get weeded out. The debates are short form and don't tell a lot about candidates.

Im skeptical the number one searched Google entry would be political right now unless a bombshell came out.
