Basically, the people in charge find out they have a leak, so they themselves leak false information to people they suspect. When the info comes back around, they knew who the leak was.

Then they had him assassinated, but made it look like a drug overdose.

that sounds like a pretty efective way to do it.....but instead of making it look like an overdose, i think assassinating him, AND making it look like an assassination, would make the disinformation that much more believable, therefore steering the average person that much farther from the truth...

sort of a "double bluff" kinda thing...

...First of all, you wouldn't want to hang around on conspiricy boards contemplating how you gonna sneak your way into some facillity, I don't think that is going to help you getting a job overthere, unless they have some kind of Oswald jobfor you

I think the following things might assist you getting involved in black projects and see some interesting tec / political plots at work.

- you are a promising student/scientist in on the right universities
- you enlist in the army and display yourselve as a particular tough "no questions asked" cookie to get into special ops / seals etc.
- you get an important bussiness postion in a corporation that helps grease the squeeking wheel of the world, like banking/energy/politics

Anyway, in most of these cases, your own prestige/wallet is too much depending on it to blow the whistle on them.

Mordechai Vannunu comes to mind, he changed literally changed religion...

So, what's stopping someone from working their butt off to get into a top-secret facility like Dulce (And I mean studying hard, applying for the job, getting in etc., not some crazy suicide mission involving flash-bangs and people spear-tackling MIBs), learning all their secrets, scribbling them down then leaking them. There are too many people working at such bases to know who is doing what.

If they have bugs planted at your house, use a public phone to tell the media / friends. By the time they get there. Your gone. If you want to leak it to ATS, use a computer at your local library, or you can easily 'hijack' someone's phone line using the pillars on the side of the road (They have them in Australia. Don't know about America), (My old man works for a phone company). Connect to the net and do it that way.

There are also line encrypters you can put on 2 phones to ensure some safety in conversations. And what about sending messages using triple DES / Blowfish / Polymorphic encryption?

I'm rambling on here, but the point is. How can the MIBs stop you, if they don't know which person is leaking? What if they kill the wrong person, like someone who is their 'employee of the month'?

What do others think?

[edit] oops. My bad. I posted this is the wrong board. It should be in the Millitary and Government FACILITIES, not projects. Is anyone able to move it? Or is it OK here? [/edit]

Did you know that if there was any truly sensative material released onto ATS the entire site would be shut down if the information was not released.

Do know how easy it is to attack a server and bring it down if you are the GOV??

I'm pretty sure all it would take is a call to whoever owns the servers ATS is run on.

Exactly right....

though firstly they would have to trace route the ip to find the lkocation of the servers...

I have wondered myself where the servers are located.... I did ask Skepticoverlord but he didn't answer.....

Isn't there a national registry or something comparable?

Even if they DID have to trace route to find the location, that wouldn't take more than an hour. A website that was leaking the new star wars film got shut down within a couple hours, and that's because George Lucas was pissed. Imagine if the USGov't was mad...

Does the US government has control over the DNS rootservers, can they make a site unaccessible within a few hours ????

I know we have an important hub for Europe in amsterdam (AMSIX) the Dutch would have to be in on it
But we have a cristian government right now, so thats quite possible...

"Basically, the people in charge find out they have a leak, so they themselves leak false information to people they suspect. When the info comes back around, they knew who the leak was."

This has been a classic counterintelligence method since Sun Tzu and Machiavelli.

What many people here don't seem to get is that cleared people tend to believe in what they are doing. They know things you don't, perceive the world from the perspective of the additional knowledge they possess, and behave accordingly.

hehehe i think the Gov is MAD (MAD as A Hatter that is)

Anyway... There is a hosting facility that is located on an old oil rig in international waters. Because it is in international waters it is not under anyone’s jurisdiction and so is now known as the most secure hosting facility known... Even more secure than the hosting facility located in the Volts of the Bank of England (Yep that's right there are servers running in there....) Though these servers are Gov servers anyway....

But the Oil rig servers are so secure because they have such a range of Ip's that should any IP be restricted by ICANN then they just simply swap IP... They only other way to bring down the servers is through a DDos attack and there are ways around that....

Anyway surfice to say that I very much suspect that the SkepticOverlord would take out anything at the request of the Gov...

I would also suggest that ATS is monitored by the GOV constantly for any keywords that are sensitive...

So be careful..

for example this Thread will be read by the Gov because I'm about to say

Dirty Bomb London Queen Palace Oxford street Osama

hehehehe there you go this thread is now taking up Gov time to asses if we are all a threat lol

So if I were you I would start looking over your shoulder for Albino Gov agents with dark shades

NeoN...
