Interesting cell phone footage, of reasonable quality, showing a white, reflective, oblong object flying in the sky, somewhere over Wichita Kansas. YouTube poster has only 12 subscribers and has previously posted only three video clips, one being on chemtrails. Perhaps that is why she was filming three jet aircraft flying overhead, when she caught this strange looking craft. Her clip has generated some interest and rightfully so.

The aerial anomaly erratically changes it's altitude, as the footage becomes slightly obscured by a tree. Reminds me of what pilot Cmdr. David Fravor stated, when describing the movements of the "tic tac" UFO he was pursuing in his F-18, back in 2004.

Hard to say if this is just a misidentified bird, balloon, blimp or drone. Heck, I suppose it could even be a CGI effect done on a phone app. So hard to tell nowadays.

the part where it goes behind the tree looks like bad CGI.

I saw one like that once. 1992 or so. It was completely still when I noticed it and a few seconds later it started moving slowly. After 30 seconds or so, it went so fast that it was out of my view in a matter of seconds.

Yeah, that part is questionable to me too. Don't know if it's just an optical aberration of her cell phone, or a poorly done CGI job. Up to then, the clip looked fairly legit. Hard to say.

It looks like a balloon to me.
Just before it goes behind the second tree branch, we see it appears to be affected by a strong gust of wind.

Her commentary is gold.

I'm no video expert but I'm sure we'll hear from them all here.

The close up vid shows it " flaring " before it goes behind the tree. Looks a bit iffy.

It's pretty hard to tell what's going on. If it's relatively close, then it could be a balloon affected by the wind. If it's fairly far away, then it's performing a slow/stopping maneuver without changing pitch, and would be pretty difficult for a conventional aircraft to accomplish.

So... ??

Those are busy skies, lots of birds and planes. Looks too fast for a balloon. Did not see any antenna sticking out the bottom, but they could be there.

don't think it was a gust of wind, it looks like a bad attempt at keyframing, it's not easy to get the right movement that stays consistent with the movement of the camera. It's not as big of a problem when there are no other objects on screen, but once the tree appears it becomes more difficult to make it convincing.

It would be nice to see a video stabilization of that movement, with the tree being stabilized. That might make it a lot easier to see what's actually going on there. I wish I was more adept at that kind of thing.

“When you look over the top of the hill several things happen all at once. You see a fiery something totally outside your experience, and as you puzzle for a moment, focusing your eyes on the unknown, you fail to see the horror approaching from your left.”

I just read the intro to A Hilltop, West Virginia. Looks like a fun book. Have you read it?

Yep , at approx 30 seconds , the object is going behind a branch. Goes completely blank for a second or 2. Then emerges from the nothingness again
Good CGI , yet they missed a spot

Great video. I like this one. And the commentary as well. " That's not an air plane, that's an airplane."

Not sure about that video. But I will say one thing .

With the information that’s been coming out lately.

Anything real and credible will be making the front page .

See the pics attached of the video. As I do for everything I see that is unknown I pause the video at what appears to be a decent view and save a screen shot. I then open it with FastStone Image Viewer and try to get the best zoom and sharpness. The pic on the left is the pause of the video at 1:26. The other is the FastStone Image Viewer zoomed at 600% and sharpened. Seems to have a triangular geometric shape but not an airliner.

That is a great analysis!
Did you create that video?

I honestly think this has the potential of being a legit video.

Of course advanced tech should look weird when we try to compare its movements to our conventional aircraft.
However, I haven’t done a proper analysis of the video. I’m talking based on viewing the video twice on my iPad.

The way it accelerates back past the tree branch just after she moves the camera, rules out a free floating balloon.
There is a frame or two that I think I saw a flash emit from the top of the craft.

It does not behave like any consumer level drone.
However, a gps enabled flight controller would allow a drone to stop on a dime like that.
But there’s no pitch angle when it accelerates.
That is a prominent attribute you will notice when your trying to figure out if something is a drone or a plane.
It’s especially noticeable with a drone or a fixed wing UAV.

I’m the Chief Investigator for MUFON Canada.
I have access to the worldwide CMS database.
I checked Wichita Kansas reports and came back with only 2 recent ones.
But none included a video.

I’ll keep my eyes open though.
