Bernie had more people in the front row of his rallies than Hillary had in her entire audiences.

It was one of the most ironic ironies in history.

Remember they had to use sound deflection techniques to dampen the louder Bernie supporters.

The entire last half of the 2016 Convention was faked 😎

He's far from done.
A sizeable percentage of the population WANT higher taxes, because they don't pay them - they recieve those tax dollars.

The top 10% of earners pay nearly 70% of all tax revenues.
The 1%ers as Bernie likes to call them pay nearly 40% of all tax revenues.

Nearly 50% of people pay no federal income tax at all.

Higher taxes is a sound strategy because the Democrats have turned America into a welfare needy state of people who rely on the Govt. to take money from other people to give it to them.

You may not realise it yet, but as the majority of Americans who believed in the American way of life sat idly by, they actually became the minority.
It's way way too late to reverse course. America is cooked.

A tax policy that targets a significant raise for the 30% who currently pay 90% of all tax revenues, leaves 70% of people untouched - OR probably getting tax cuts to lock in their vote even more. 20% get tax cuts, the 50% who don't pay anything get bigger hand outs.

If you are an American who values the American way of life, don't say you were not warned. The alarm bells have been ringing for decades, but most people participated in their own demise, electing people like Obama because they were washed away on a sea of propaganda.

Trump was an anomoly - he may have stemmed the tide, but it's still coming in. He won because the Democrats were stupid enough to nominate Hillary Clinton, the most toxic human being around. They are not making that mistake again.

Bookmark this post - Trump has ZERO chance of being re-elected. The only possible way for Republicans to win is for Trump to step down and for the Republicans to find a candidate who will lie about his or her policies and virtue signal in order to get elected. That is what the majority of people in America want in a candidate.

Trump did ok - he held ground on some important issues - but he didn't do enough by a long shot. He needed to be far more aggressive if he was ever going to reverse the direction the country was headed in after Obama accelerated the move towards socialism.

Except we live in crazy world where half the country will cheer giving all their money away because Trump told them more money is good for them.

I heard part of his speech and he was talking about how he would do soooooo much for America, he didn't give one single example of anything he did while he was VP that was good for anyone.
He also said something about kids in cages.....but forgot to mention the fact that happened on his watch.

It doesn't matter what you pay in taxes. All that matters is the purchasing power of your take home pay. Taxes are just one part of a three part equation. Wages and product cost are the other two parts. If tomorrow we got rid of all Federal taxes it would not make any difference. The cartels and monopolies would just raise pricing and absorb any slack in the economy.

Rather than raise taxes maybe Joe should propose closing 1/2 of the 700+ foreign military bases we have all around the world.

He should propose that and he might, but he'd be lying of course because there is no way he would do it.
Maybe he will create world peace after he cures cancer. You never know.

You might be forgetting that half the country pays no taxes, and they are all for rhetoric like this and "sticking it to the rich".

1. Prove to me it actually would only be a small increase.

2. Prove to me the care actually would be quality and efficient.

3. Prove to me the money would be well-spent and not simply enrich an endless army of bureaucrats like it does with every other federal program.

4. Fix public education and the post office so that they run like this mythical health care system first ... oh *and* medicare, medicaid, all the other entitlements, and social security ...

5. Ensure that the military will run just as well and not suffer in terms of strength and advanced ability to project power.

Once you've done all of that, then and only then will I entertain your small tax increase for yet another government-run boondoggle.

Hoochie mommas love Biden. Or rather what he's going to give them. Actually, they would take Biden or Sanders.

The actual first thing Biden will do, on Inauguration Day 2021, is contact a ghost writer to assist him in penning "What Happened? Book 2" with a foreword written by Hillary Clinton entitled "So Now Joe Knows... How I Felt."

That said, if the Dem voters cared about tax raises to all the actual tax paying citizens, then Bernie would join Joe on that slow bus to nowhere. In fact, Tulsi Gabbard would be about the only potential candidate left standing as the entirety of the others seem laser beam focused on stealing the earnings of every tax paying American.

Anyone and everyone that'd be against a small increase in federal taxes to fund a healthcare system either has private insurance already

...which I am already paying for myself...

A "small" tax increase?

GET BENT. We tried that in 2010, most of the middle class still hasn't recovered and our health coverage is ridiculously more expensive while being fractionally less beneficial.

Biden doesn’t want to run.

He’s saying enough crap now to insure he doesn’t get the nomination.

The average family of 4 pays about $13k per year in the UK for healthcare. My insurance for a family of 4 is $3400, that includes dental plus and eye care. I would need to spend $10k out of pocket every year just to break even with the NHS.

*You* know that. *I* know that, but we're smart people who understand a thing or two. Most people just complain because they actively have to write checks rather than never see the money to begin with.
