The Deep State is Allied with Iran. Hurt Iran you cripple the Deep State. Look at how the MSM reports out.

So it was not the deep state that has been gunning for war with Iran for the past 20 years?
What do you call those that have been chomping at bit to attack Iran for the past 20 years?

Obviously the deepstate has changed their minds because Trump might want to go to war with Iran. That's the only logical answer, attacking Iran can't possibly be a part of their plans anymore because Trump is in office. Makes sense, right?

Right?..... Guys?

Russia is not our enemy. We may not see eye to eye with them on some things and we cannot totally trust them, but we can work with them to help with peace in that region. Like people say, there is some group of individuals that wants to control the world, some call it the deep state but I do not know if that is really a good explanation of what these people desiring world domination are.

Right now there are some power hungry people in Europe trying to control the world and they are trying to cause conflict and promote fear....typical moves of people who want to gain power. They want to keep people doped up enough to accept what the propaganda they spread and push food and Pharma chemistry that dampens our ability to reason correctly. This group is not limited to Europe, there are many in this country aligned with this group. But I do feel that some of the most powerful figureheads are in Europe. And their corporate influence is evident in the USA.

I think the UK is trying to break away to get away from those powerhouse figures and they are having a hard time because they have political puppets in the UK parliament.

Just my opinion, I have no direct evidence, just a bunch of things I have evaluate that points to something like this.

As for Iran, it is past time that the regime oppressing their people is removed.

So you want to liberate and improve someone's life by destroying their nation? Do you realize how backwards that sounds. I have one friend from Iran, he loves his country and is very proud of it. with a population of around 40 Million there is lots going on. I am sure like every where else in the world it has its problems, but I cannot see with any sense of normality how doing what has been done to Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen and others actually goes towards improving ones way of life.

Sure in time once all the dust settles, life will start to pick up and carry on, but what about the 40 Million people in the mean time? I fail to see the cost of war adding up to salvation for them.

If you really want to get rid of tirent leaders then perhaps your own back yard is a better place to start rather than getting involved in thing you really care little about.

"Orange man good" so we should bring freedom to Iran. Don't you get it? You're not supposed to think past that.

Saudi Arabia seems to be more oppressive towards their people than Iran, and sponser the same if not more amount of terrorism.

So if we're looking at the intentions of the west as far as spreading "freedom", that's not the main concern. We obviously help keep Saudi Arabia system propped up because they play ball.

So it's not about threats or helping people. It's about power. And however people want to justify it, they still know that Iran would cost a bunch of money, and for what? These are the same people who complain about social programs or domestic spending. They'd rather the money get pissed away while lives are lost for power. Sick, isn't it?

I believe the criticism was that Obama was touted as this hero of peace while he is killing huge amounts of people. Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining.

I doubt Russia would ally with the US in an attack on Iran. They are sick of the US attacking and overthrowing any country the US wants. I believe Russia sells military hardware to Russia too, so an alliance against Iran doesn’t make much sense.

I would not propose a war. I am quite sure a list of Iranian leaders could be targetd and taken out, as well as their ability to communicate effectively - without the need for a land invasion.

Have seen posted here, in the last couple of years, some kind of supposed plan to conquer the whole region.
Supposedly drawn-up many years ago: it included: Afghanistan; Iraq; Libya; Syria; and Iran.

Folks were discussing this list a couple of years ago, before Syria, when there was rumblings with Iran.
The wiser on the good forums, said: 'The road to Iran goes through Damascus'.

In hindsight: That list/paper seems pretty darn accurate.
Does anyone have it on hand?

Thanks CS.
Surprising to see a general talk about a Pentagon memo, no?
That's essentially the same info as my recollection.

My memory is of a posted document, with an official seal, like "USCENTCOM", or something like that.
Have been looking for a link, but nothing yet.

Kind of like how we got Saddam, his sons and the top generals during Shock and Awe, right?

And people forget that we can't just strike Iran and call it a day.

We have assets all through the region they could retaliate against, mainly Iraq where they have a strong foothold.

Then it would be full scale war.
