We had to put my girlfriends dog down this past weekend...

Even thought the Vet performed the procedure while we were there..

If you think that politically strong people like the Clintons could't pull something like this off, even with their hands tied behind their back by greasing the right palm in the NYPD, you are delusional.

There is corruption like this going on all over the country (and the world) with less powerful people behind it. It just so happens that these people have Clinton connections, and you have dozens of people jumping through hoops on a conspiracy theory forum to say they have no possible connection. Seems to me rather odd.

Maybe. But he had nothing but this job; no wife, no kids no nothing. He lived NYPD every day and it was all ending.

Hell maybe he was seeing someone from time to time and on mentioning his retirement and plans for the future she/he basically told him to take a hike.

Needn't be anyone in his life for him to do this, retirement is petrifying to someone who's dedicated their whole life to their job. He might've thought screw it I've got nobody and soon I won't have a job.

He was only being forced to retire from the NYPD, not from law enforcement. A 40-year NYPD veteran could easily find another job in law enforcement or private security anywhere in the country. It was the bullet that ended his career, not the forced retirement with massive pension.

Popular media typically shows people placing the barrel of the firearm to their temple and firing. Many times, this will not actually ensure *certain* death.

In order to make sure the gunshot is lethal and kills you, the individual would need to make sure that the bullet completely destroys and annihilates the (Reptilian) brain stem - the lowermost part of the brain.

Typically, to do that correctly, you would need to open your mouth, place the firearm into the mouth and try to point the barrel towards the roof of the mouth, slightly downwards. This will ensure that the bullet destroy the brain stem beyond repair and death *should* be (near-)instanteous.

The "gun to the temple" route is quite risky, as many survive and many times, the bullets are not strong enough to do fatal damage.
