My understanding is that if you have an invested, loving partner during pregnancy, you suffer much fewer complications. Guess what? If you have a baby daddy that has a few other baby mamas, you are not going to get his full attention. Also, if she needs a cut of the paycheck, he just might be MIA. Nutrition is also a huge factor, and nutrition is cultural. I won't even go into that.

The other factor is medical care. I have a friend who is a gynecologist and she is a wonderful person. She is the kind of doctor that takes every form of insurance, even though she doesn't have to. Her Medicaid patients have free visits. You know when most of them show up for a pregnancy check up? Right around 8 months. They are counseled early on in the pregnancy by many local organizations how important it is to receive early care, hell we even have billboards stressing this downtown, but many of them can't be arsed.


This is all very sad and disheartening. I am by no means a religious nut, and my views on abortion have NOTHING to do with religion. I won't even try to assume that I have control over anyone's womb, nor do I want to. I made a decision years ago that was right for me, and I don't have to look back in regret, simply because I knew I couldn't live with that particular decision.

I also don't want the government involved in any decisions concerning a woman's body. But I will say this, abortion should never, ever, be birth control. Unfortunately, that is exactly what it has become for a large majority of the population.

People who are having sex with others they aren't willing to raise a child with are a serious problem. We are not animals in the wild, we are humans with full controls over our impulses. There are too many people who think of sex as little more than an avenue for social entertainment.

If women are the sole decider on abortions then there should be a registry listing women who would have an abortion in the event of an unplanned pregnancy so men can have some control on what happens to their babies.

History will regard this era of legal abortion with the same moral shame that we have for slavery and Nazi's. I am not religious, I just love the incredible potential of human life.

I agree OP, best option to stopping abortions is be responsible for yourself and stop having unprotected sex because we all know how babies are made these days, even stupid people know this.

Maybe it's time we men took a stance like many of these women are, why aren't we screaming "It's my body?" too?

Don't give women babies, and they cannot murder them on you or take away your parental rights.

Make better choices for where you deposit your sperm in future. A little bit of common sense effort and the abortion issue will eventually go away.

They are seeking to have sex with the most attractive men (read alphas) without shame or repercussions. Then, when they deem they are ready, they are are seeking monogamy from a man of their choosing. But women have taken their need for security to new levels. They have sought to change the laws so that they may have this security without marriage (if they were not able to marry the alpha they wished). They are able to have child support, alimony, burden of proof on the man in a rape case, welfare from the government, men fighting for their equality in the workplace, home, etc.

Women also control the narrative to protect and secure our feelings. People are not allowed to shame women for sleeping around, they’re not allowed to disagree with a woman in politics, race, sexual relations, or most any other taboo realm lest her feelings get hurt. She will use shaming language to put a stop to it and it will often work

Not saying women are completely innocent either.

I know a 23 year old young lady with four kids, had her first at 19...multiple fathers. She decided to live off welfare from the state and be a full time mother.

Both partners need to be responsible here, condoms aren't that hard to use.

How many men know? How many men have had their thrills and then gone on their way without a second thought for a life they may have created? How many men have gotten their jollies and then don't even remember once the twinkle in their eye is satisfied? How many men know how many abortions have resulted from their seed? Maybe... maybe not. As I understand it, God don't make no junk and loves each and every one of us. Maybe I'm wrong about that. So I won't presume to speak for the Creator. Neither will I judge. I will say though that our Creator is a loving and forgiving Creator, and a woman who aborts can also repent, atone, and be forgiven.

The ignorance of people today is just baffling. Margaret Sanger created Planned Parenthood admittedly to eradicate the black population and people that support PP don't even know that. I've had conversations and debates with them and they haven't even gone online to find out who she really was...a hardcore racist. The evidence right in their faces and they're too slow to even see it. Just weird.
