Petition To REMOVE RASHIDA Tlaib For Fake Address and Lies

There is an issue with the article. It says she was elected to the 12th district, she was elected to the 13th district.

Parts of Dearborn are located in district 12 other parts are in district 13.

It can take forever for your current address to be reflected on your credit report even after applying for credit at the new address. If you don't appy for credit, it can take a couple of years unless you write to the directly which is a hassle few people find necessary, unless there is an issue.

Did she lie? I don't know, but there are flaws in their method of confirming her address. I think one should look at a larger number of sources including utilities, bills, and services that required someone to go out to the home.

Obviously there is an issue with logging a fake address outside of the representative district. I have to ask though, don't Pelosi and waters both live outside of the districts they represent?

Politicians in australia recently were shown that some had dual citizenship. They lost their positions and if they wanted to get into politics again had to revoke their dual citizenship.

Politicians not living in their districts is a very, very common practice.. one that has caused people to lose later elections over, but not one that people are impeached or removed from office for..

U.S. House Reps (Federal) need only to live in the State the District they run for is in.
(The Maxine Waters issue living outside Her District is actually legal. But her home was at one time in her district until they re-drew the district)


Michigan State House Reps is a different story.

Qualifications:
Section 7 of Article 4 of the Michigan Constitution states, "Each senator and representative must be a citizen of the United States, at least 21 years of age, and an elector of the district he represents. The removal of his domicile from the district shall be deemed a vacation of the office. No person who has been convicted of subversion or who has within the preceding 20 years been convicted of a felony involving a breach of public trust shall be eligible for either house of the legislature.

Thanks for sharing this quoted Michigan State law. So, obviously, the States create their own criteria regarding rules for the district elections. It does indeed clear up why Waters in California has different election rules. Tlaib does have to follow Michigan State law for the 13th district.

West Dearborn is in the 12 th district. That western district is a much bigger district and she would not have had a chance of being elected there.

Notice how every up and coming Dimocrat politician of any significance is a member or claims to be a member of some special identity group.
