So the embassy wants to know, what were you doing in 1990?

As an ethnic German, I was watching Alf.

Alf (alien life form) was more popular among Germans than in the US.

In fact, he released two hit records in Germany!

I like the minty arts videos but I have to watch them in short bursts. His accent wears on me.

But the content is usually very good.

The strange thing about the show, at the time Alf seemed like another insufferable teenager. But he wasn't. He was a very ancient alien.
