Russian nuclear weapons in Venezuela are a near certainty .
Because some nuclear capable bombers flew there? That's quite the leap.

I am certainly not for any country planting missiles close to another country, however....
Sounds a bit like neo-cons kicking the doom-porn can down the road. No evidence, just fear mongering. But thinking rationally, the US has Russia surrounded with conventional, nuclear and anti-missile missiles, why shouldn't Russia be able to plant missiles in Cuba or Venezuela or Jamaica, etc.? Does the US have some special status that says another country can't do exactly the same thing the US is doing?
The hypocrisy is strong in this one lol.

Didn’t see that thank you for the update.
Is there a possibility they left something behind ?
Edit
Apparently more came back in January .
January of this year, at a distance of less than 2,800 miles from the United States, several Tupolev TU-160—Russian strategic bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons—remained in Venezuela to perform joint military exercises with the armed forces of that country. Nicolas Maduro’s regime, with its strong political ties to Russia, China, Turkey, Syria, Cuba and Iran, has become a focus of political instability in Latin America. Additionally, the world’s largest reserves of crude oil (as certified by OPEC), and important reserves of gold, bauxite, iron, coal, diamonds and rare minerals such as coltan (appreciated in the electronics industry) have made Venezuela an important new geopolitical objective, for both allies and enemies.

One thing I’d like to point out. My grammar is obviously atrocious. Sometimes my replies come across a little sharper than intended .
There’s one reason Putin would do it. I seriously doubt he’d use them either. But he could do it to show he can have influence throughout the world. Including in our hemisphere . His actions down there may already violated our long-standing position on the Monroe doctrine . Putin is all about prestige, publicity and Clickbait. He wants to look strong to the world .

You're correct. A great deal of the news is fake, a lie, misleading, etc..
But You haven't said WHAT is a lie..
1.) Did Congressman Diaz-Balart not say those words?
2.) Or, was Congressman Diaz-Balart lying when he said those words?
3.) How do YOU know? ("Just go look it up", doesn't cut it. Sorry.)
“The United States, the closest we ever came to nuclear war was because the Russians put missiles — right — nuclear missiles in Cuba,” Díaz-Balart said.
“Are you saying the Russians will put nuclear missiles in Venezuela?” Carlson asked in a follow-up question.
“What I am suggesting is that they are already there,” Diaz-Balart said. The Florida congressman did not provide any evidence to support that suggestion.
