Hmmmmm...what to say? ...

How in the hell did your wife break your arm with a dinner plate????? You got Sponge Bob arms?? Rocket propelled dinner plates made of titanium?? What?

My wife would never throw a dinner plate at me...she might wreck the plate!

...She comes after me with a claw hammer instead.

Haha, it was real quality pottery and marksmanship and bad luck, and fists!

Damn...and I thought getting stabbed with a broken bottle was bad for a domestic argument.

Sounds pretty extreme also, but frigging life... Stuff just happens eventually.

This is a random rant

And for the real conspiracies, we would have to have a chat in person.

My wife and I have been together for what will be 15 years this year. No "stuff just happened" where violence was a factor, let alone broken-bone level violence.

Life does have strange twists and turns, but this is one you have control over. This whole "I'm powerless to stop this" mentality you obviously have is a self-imposed prison. It's entirely up to you.

You seem like a pretty decent guy.
Get yourself a good woman that doesn't put you in the hospital.

...either that, or start using paper plates.

Look, I grew up in an abusive household as a child.

I know the kind of damage it can do to people.

Once is enough, man. Surprised or scared is irrelevant. Violence has been brought into the home and this is a crisis for you whether you see it or not.

So by not watching your tongue your arm gets broken.

It is both of your faults. You should be more considerate of each other.

That bone is hard to break usually, I would be wondering why it broke, are your bones that brittle? Not enough calcium or vitamin D in your diet? It is a little easier to crack the cartilage at the ends than the bone itself. It could also be that you do not eat enough collagen in your diet.

haha sorry if my approach disgusts you,

i believe it is common practice for the genus homo Sapiens Sapiens to use humour as a bridge to allow interactions of fellow beings.

Well if someone can get something out of this, bite your tongue, if you can, and do not be a mellow fellow if physical trauma is ahead, flex just a little bit haha.

Well luckily, no ones needs to grow up with us, and to be completely honest, we are both "damaged goods"

-Edit, we were both grown out of poverty, violence and abuse, physical and mental. Might explain things a bit.

She actually flinged a large plate at me, very nice shot, kinda proud of her, and threw a couple of punches after, also very well placed.
