Greetings,

I have a small problem, I have encounted a UAV that was displayed on the Net, and I am trying to find out if it is either a proposal, its name if any, the producer and finally if any one else has come across this design.

I thank you the members of this forum for taking the time to read this, I hope some one has ecountered.

Concept or conceptual rendering, gooseuk.
It also reminds me of a past article I read by Integurl when I saw that UAV firing a missile:
SCI/TECH: SAR plus ATR makes UAV's new breed of Kill Machines

Thanks for replying Seekerof,

I have been spending the a last few months on a computer system for a UAV, at the minute I have gotten to the construction stage, so I have been looking at the "standard" UAV box size and then the more stealthy looking UCAV concepts.

This one caught my eye, I wasn't sure if it was concept or not sadly, at the moment, you wouldn't happen to know how to make a simple radar system would you
lol

That is a conceptual artists rendition of the Boeing X-45 prior to the actual building of it.
The rendering may be partially influenced by the Boeing Bird of Prey which was actually a manned technology demonstrator for the X-45.

AerospaceWeb.org also considers this graphic a Boeing design as this link would suggest: AeroSpaceWeb.Org-Boeing UCAV

See any family resemblance?

While intelgurl is right. It oddly appears to look more like a Northrop Grumman Concept, Northrop has several designs with the air intake on the top and back of the craft.

The first one is Gooseuk's pic, the Second is the Northrop Grumman Long-range Strike Platform, which looks a lot like the first pic except its manned. and the third pic is another Northrop Grumman concept.

Its interesting that the UAV seems to be firing a Pheonix missile. Which of course is being phased out, wonder if its an old design?

I believe it was before the Bird of Prey aircraft, which was built awhile ago, so its at least a decade old concept.
