I find thoughts like this fascinating. It wasn't until a few years ago that everyone said "Anyone who becomes President is just another insider, one of the chosen elites. It doesn't matter if the President is Bush or Clinton, they are all the same!" It even went further "If a REAL outsider got in then what would they do!? I know I'd vote for ANY outsider"

Well ATS.... an Outsider became President, and we are seeing exactly what we thought we would see, The Elite and the Media doing everything in their power to destroy that President in anyway possible. Why aren't you ALL behind this president? An Outsider was elected, this is what you all wanted many years ago... this IS the biggest conspiracy we've seen in a very long while!

I'm not American so my view is from outside. I straight up don't believe Trump is an outsider. He's a billionaire with old money connections. He is one of the elite. An outsider would be if a boilermaker from some tinpot town or a starving travelling musician got the top job. Now that would be truely something. Somehow, I don't think that will ever happen. I think Trump is a psy-op. That conspiracy angle seems to be unpopular around here though.

Because almost all political "conspiracies" are actually coming true in real time. I think you should start a new bigfoot thread to quell your conspiracy craving.

I'd love to hear more on this Psy-op honestly. I keep myself open minded. I believe the reason it's unpopular is because all the evidence so far shows the opposite. The Media and elite establishment on both sides have been doing everything in their power since 2016 to try to destroy him.

The President can't burp in public without 35 different stories talking about how He's got gas problems, or he's an uncultured idiot, or this is obvious signs of digestion issues and he might die soon, or he burped within 5 meters of a woman so that was sexual assault! etc etc etc.

Of course playing devils advocate, maybe they KNOW how ridiculous they sound and they expect the American People to not believe them?

I was curious early on if they were testing just HOW MUCH they can fool the American people and how much they would believe and Trump is a miscalculation. They were hoping they would destroy him during the Primaries, but failed.

I guess it all depends on what you consider conspiracy to be.

If it is ghosts, goblins, UFO’s and The End Of The World As We Know it...not a lot is happening on that front.

If it is intrigue, stories, counter stories, group plots being exposed...a whole lot is happening in the political realm.

So why the change if conspiracy theorists are supposed to be counter culture antiestablishment kind of people? Well, they still are. Trump lost the popular vote but still became president (a rare but not unknown situation) which makes his supporters counter culture antiestablishment types of people going against the mainstream.

Trump is not a two fisted John Wayne type of guy kicking ass and not worrying about the names. But is he an Outlaw Josey Wales kind of guy just trying to do what he thinks is best and dragging more and more along with him as he tries to escape the hounds trying to get him? Are his tweets the equivalent of spitting tobacco juice on the dog for his own amusement? The anti-hero we need rather than the hero we want? Time will tell, but some are going with those opinions and being very vocal about it to the wails and laments of others.

Get a boring same old president again and people will find something else to talk about except than how they being screwed over by the boogeyman that was the bread and butter of political discussions again.

I too miss the old days of ATS where every other post was about Nibiru, peoples' zombie survival plans, and weird weather patterns.

Anyone remember those threads about 'strange sounds' from all around the world? Haha those were the days.

I had similar thoughts at the time. Its hard to put my finger on it but I smell a rat; have since the get go. I don't trust Trump; he screams con man to me. I don't think he truely believes most of what he says. I think he's up to something, but what it is I don't know. Is he working on behalf of a group? Maybe. Possibly he's just trying to set up his family as a dynasty? He's definitely not standing up for the little guy though, there is no way he could possibly relate to the average Joe. He's a rich kid, son of a Mogul.

In relation to the OP though, I've seen a lot of these threads and something I've noticed, the people that are like me, complaining and sick of the politics, are often from outside the US. I think the international members in particular are sick of the Trump vs Dems thing.

I remember those sounds. Did anyone ever figure out what that was all about?

About 2 years ago, I was camping with a mate of mine (in Australia) and saw the most epic and unexplainable display in the sky. It was lights, like stars but they had a kind of halo around them that sort of shimmered, and they were moving all over the sky in all sorts of random ways. Some would stop then move again and sort of speed up and slow down as they moved, very smoothly. There was at one point 20-30 in the sky. This went on for 45min to an hour easy, so much so that we got bored and sore necks and stopped looking at them for a while and started getting on with our night. Looked up later and they were still there. Tried to film on my iPhone but just looked like a black sky. I was going to make a thread here but without any real evidence, felt I'd just be shot down. There is some crazy stuff going on outside of politics that's for sure.

America really likes talking about itself and now we're stuck being run by the dreggs of left and right philosophy's. Take heart world, we don't know what we're doing and we're likely to wipe ourselves out. Hopefully we don't take you all with us.

It could possibly have something to do with the 'almighty dollar'. The 'new and improved' format may generate more site traffic which in turn generates more revenue.

I just think its funny how people think that Trump is anti-establishment.

You can't get more pro-establishment than Trump and the people behind him.

He is a TV Celebrity who knows only how to do one thing, and that thing he does well, and that is manipulating stupid people into haveing a specific image of him.

Just because the pro President media switched from cnn to fox, and the contra President media switched from fox to cnn, does not make this guy anti-establishment. That idea is just plain laughable.

The conspiracy that an economic elite is behind all of politics is currently being proven by all of this.

The Russian hackers, and blind Trump loyalists ruined this site, perhaps for good. ATS use to be a really interesting, daily read website. Now most normal people just come, look at the vitriol, and keep it moving. The moderators/owners don't care, so long as they can spam each page with ads. This site will (thankfully) fade away in a couple years.

Yes, Bigfoot IS a conspiracy!

Remember that little guy, the northern spotted owl? It was on the endangered species list and when they found it in the forest it shut down the logging there, which cost the logging industry millions of dollars.

Imagine now if big guys like Bigfoot with a range of hundreds of miles were officially “Discovered”. They would immediately be put on the endangered species list and would shut down the logging industry overnight, costing it to loose sixteen billion dollars and hundreds of thousands of jobs.

The US government is like a big club of people, they are all over the place and at some point they hear everything. There are people here on ATS who know Bigfoot is real, which means that the government knows they are real. And they are keeping it a secret.

YES, BIGFOOT IS A GOVERNMENT COVER-UP.

Why, because losing the logging industry would be a big blow to the economy. Especially the housing industry, because without wood they would have to stop building until they could design metal or plastic houses.

Like the metal and plastics industry, the Democrats need to “discover” Bigfoot too.

Trump is all about the economy, that’s where he is doing great. If the Dems want to damage Trump they need to damage the economy. So the Democrats need to “discover” Bigfoot. Because everyone will want Bigfoot on the protected species list, which would force Trump to shut down the logging industry and damage the economy.

And then there are the National Parks, with their three hundred thousand jobs and thirty five billion dollars revenue. If the gov knows that Bigfoot exist and they know that hundreds of thousands of their citizens go missing in those National Parks, how are they going to get out of that? Are they going to blame it on the aliens that they say do not exist?

Either way it’s a win for Bigfoot and a win for the Democrat party.

Of course in the end, Trump would be okay, because he did the right thing and no-one with a brain could complain that it was his fault that the economy suffered. And of course America would pull through it because the economy would eventually come around and America would be green again.

Talk about a Green New Deal – the biggest winner of all will be the Trees!

I was thinking this too! All this mudslinging seems to be really popular and must be bringing in lots of revenue. Maybe US partisan politics just sells more than Bigfoot and UFO's so the site sits back and doesn't moderate it out.
