I think the logic is sound in ref to Mueller RR "dirty". I mean, the way Q presented it, a deep state may take it as such. But, the statement of "If this then that" in itself is a logical fallacy.

Being that Rosenstein was originally confirmed for his position with overwhelming Democrat support, I'd say they had faith in him. When exactly they realized RR wasn't playing for their team...I don't know.

McCabe's willingness to throw RR under the bus though indicates they had suspicions at the very least.
