What might be lost in the karma here is besides poaching them, big animals kill people. Not the same as bagging a Buck for trophy when they can't kill you. The stories about the Buck killing the hunter are as good as this IMO. I saw where some guy taking photo's of Giraffe's got stomped on and killed. It happens but Karma IS A B!

Yea, we need for China and India to realize it is fools tales that poachers are working to satiate. They sure should quit wanting aphrodisiacs anyway!

It always amuses me when I see people happy and gloating after a human dies while hunting.

An interesting poll should be

Who believes in the death sentence?

Should trying to kill an animal be punishable by death?

How about killing a human?

How about trying to kill a human?

I saw a news story about a kid who was a part of a drive by shooting. Didn’t listen to the cop and got shot. Protests followed

If the same kid did a drive by in the elephant at the zoo. Then didn’t listen to the cop and got shot. I think people would have thrown the cop a parade.

The human condition is fascinating

He wasn't a "hunter" he was a poacher and justice was served (literally served). I wonder if the lions used some A1 with dinner.

Personally, I prefer my meat grilled rather than "poached".

I also like it when toddlers eat batteries and make it necessary for battery companies to put warning labels on battery packages telling people not to let their kids eat batteries. Frankly, I think Mr Darwin has some work to do there. If nature can make animals that blend into their surroundings because the ones that didn't got eaten, it can make human toddlers that don't eat batteries because the ones that did don't survive to do other dumb things as adults. Like having babies on Welfare.

Good job nature

Oh and ..

All you army veterans.. how about you go to those places and start hunting some of those poachers
I bet you could earn some nice coin as well, there are already people doing it, but they are not professional

And you could put them on the wall above your fireplace when you come home

It's all about life choices and consequences , you can either choose to be a poacher who goes into a wildlife park on foot to kill protected animals and get eaten or you can do something else and not get eaten.

I'd be happy if he'd chosen the something else and gone on to live his life but as he took the path he did I'm happy that there is one less poacher stealing from the wealth of his country ... its wildlife.

When they're gone they're gone.

People who are hunting aren’t breaking into an extremely dangerous national park on foot in the middle of the night with the sole goal of killing Rhinos for only the horn while leaving the entire body to rot. That’s called poaching, not
Hunting.

Your analogy between not listening to a cop getting killed and someone trying to illegally kill an endangered species aren’t even in the same library let alone the same play book.

I blame the buyers of the poached animals, namely wealthy Chinese who will pay what the impoverished poachers consider a fortune for the animals tusks and such.

Agreed , that is the root of the evil which will persist until the market for ivory and horn is ended , more pressure needs to be put on Far Eastern countries to end the trade in their superstition medicines and ivory trinkets.

I read an article a few months back about scientists working on man-made ivory that is already near indistinguishable, even under a microscope.

Their plan is that once they get the perfect match, they'll flood the market with the fake stuff and drive down the cost, demand and incentive to poach.

OH now you can't say that killing humans is ok can you?

I can agree Karma killing the Poachers is one thing, but ignoring Humans killing humans for greed or lust is not how this will work out well for us all. The concept I read in that post was how little HUMAN life means to some people on a case by case basis. Baby out of womb, some say kill it is ok. IF you don't believe in the Religion of Peace the way someone else does, then a beheading is due you they think. Genocide of the Jews was on the table for more than Germany last century.

A Tree in some park needs to come down and they latch themselves on to it and force leo's to move them. Emotions for humanity are less than for the trees in those people.

Still I want Poachers STOPPED. The appetite for the product is the problem. Poachers are thieves and deserve no quarter on getting away with the theft of more than just an animal from a wildlife refuge.

Agreed it's the BUYERS at fault. People do all kinds of rediculous things for money. Not everyone is educated about things in the way the western world generally is. The guys paying big money out provides opportunity to those with little.

Yess... The African governments should use this punishment for poachers... and not to forget for the people who buy their products. Throwing them before the lions will be sufficient I guess... maybe that will stop these a-holes.

every one including me do 100s of times teh damage to animals then poachers could ever do . In order to drive your car Huge area are striped mined and poisoned . In order to have your power Huge area are striped mined and poisoned .
Only one thing that could save earth from this E.L.E is if ewe go extinct .
You wont stop driving your car nore stop using power no stop eating and half the planet has been clear cut for farm space then fertilized so much causing alga blooms red tides killing off the oceans .

No way around In order for the human race to save the animals we would one have to STOP all wars and invest EVERY thing into clean energy ,
so start Using high rises for farming ( you know 100 story's buildings each floor designed for max food totally closes system .
Reduce city sizes build most of the citys under ground minimizes humans foot print on ground lv for the whole planet .

Now non of this will happen and the old tired argument Humans can not effect our environment is just people sticking there head in the sand .
Green house gases is the least of our worries .
