I love the change in point of view.
Had to read it a couple times to understand.
Suspenseful to say the least!

What happened to him?

Doctors always creeped me out...

I should have spent a bit more time on this story.

Substitute ( bellboy ) for ( Zyltol ).
Change ( primitive pencil and paper ) to ( last season's paper stationary ).
Change (Doctor do we frighten them that much ) to ( Your patients were to enjoy their vacation )

Cadmium is one of the toxic substances found on circuit boards.
