Quantum spacetime - Black Hole information paradox

A random thought and query on Hawkings radiation and black holes/information loss.

Why is it assumed that the information is lost when it passes through the event horizon? One theory postulates that information is stored at the event horizon, this makes sense in the Holographic Universe theory, Hawkings radiation leak from the Black hole, while matter is absorbed, but why is it assumed its lost forever? Is it possible that it's being accessed and utilized elsewhere, I hate to use the phrase "The other Side" that sounds rudimentary as only being 2D.

Quantum Gravity Theory seems to be an interesting clue

Time, space, gravity etc imho are "Scalable" depending on it's location within a Planck scale matrix. Adjusting our understand/interpretation to it's reality based on not only its location but also its scalable state of existence. Could one apply a fractal Geometrical interpretation?

Has it got magnitude?

It seems to have direction though.

Although i don't know if you could class it as a vector either.

That could conceivably be a first clue of a much grander reality outside our spectrum of observation solely based on the constraints of our present state of existence. Black holes often are found near a star, absorbing it's mass, draining or "Accessing" its information. To what purpose?

What about the super massive black holes at the centre of galaxies.

Are they function crunching an entire galaxy?

To start again, having singled out the function. Perhaps.

It's functioning obviously on a grander scale than the smaller ones we know of, Scale up or down. As above so Below as within..

No

Black holes seem to only absorb whats near them, they are not entities that "Grow" devouring everything in their expanding spherical path.

ETA, Hawkings I think, suggested that if not fed, they will in time dissipate/fade away, leaking all the radiation out.

That assumes there is another side as in a mirror or it's a conduit. A tube if it were. What if....

It's nothing like we can imagine or perceive. A higher dimensional construct ?

Or a universe. Perhaps. It's laws governed by it's singularity (function). From its parent Black hole?

Could it be information rejected. Not needed, not applicable, duplicate etc?

It bothers me when physicists start talking about "information," because to me with my punky little Sociology degree, that adds a layer of consciousness and communication to the mix, both of which really don't mix well with straight math.
